Tyger was his name, how fitting for a feline fellow as himself. So far this feline had only shown a glimmer of a smile, which she thought could mean either he was hard to impress, or it was just rare that anything really tickled his fancy. He was calm and collected, even stoic perhaps, someone who didn't let his emotions take control of him, or at least so he seemed so far. Interesting. It was different to Haven, yet there were a few similarities she could see. Both of them were level headed, when things had to be done then there was no way around it. Plus she seemed to be rather enjoying his company.
Usually Haven would find herself surrounded by men of wealth and renown, but all of them were leeches, all of them wanting to suck her dry of her beauty. But thats all they were, simple blood sucknig worms that had no rights to be human, hence the reason she allowed herself to be used lightly, it always ended up with her using them before they even realised what had happened. She was the predator, and they were the prey, once she had set her talons in, nothing would shake her off until she was satisfied.
But she was veering off track here.
Her attention would turn to her partner, giving him a small, yet pleasant smile as she would tilt her head in acknowledgement.
"Haven Bliss, a pleasure my dear Tyger."
With the pleasantries behind them, both of them would venture forward, although she would allow Tyger to go ahead of her slightly. Those glowing webs were absolutely gorgeous, but many gorgeous things hid their true colours. Like a rose for example, a beautiful flower, no matter what colour, inviting to all. Yet take ahold of it and underneath lay the thorns, ready to lash out and strike you down. So beautiful, yet so deadly. The same could be said for the webs, what made them and where was it now?
Tyger didn't seem to be as impressed as her as they walked, continuously muttering to himself about his disapproval. She could easily set them all aflame and be done with it, yet then the creatures that dwelt within might be encouraged to come 'greet' their 'guests' so to speak. So she would simply allow Tyger to go just ahead of her and break most of them as he went, she on the other hand despite being taller, would then simple weave in and out and what had been broken, avoiding all sticky contact with these webs.
As they walked, the cavern twisted and turned, the walls being uneven yet beautifully covered by these luminescent webs. How long had they been here? Although, no matter how far they walked, one thing was becoming clear to her and it was a little unsettling. So, in a hushed tone, just to be safe, she would speak to Tyger in almost a whisper. Better to be safe than sorry.
"My dear Tyger, can you hear it? The only sounds of anything moving around, is simply you and I."
Where was everything? Not that she wanted to meet anything right now, but still. These caves were made by creatures of all shapes, sizes and species. But yet not a single one appeared to be here, absolutely nothing.
