He stood there clearly having been ignored by the two, who were more interested in glaring at one another it was more than obvious that these two had some sort of past, or at least knew of one another. Maybe Fang had a personal relationship with the Raven Tail owner who owned this girl? If so then this led Bunji to wonder whether this was really a mission given out by Raven Tail, or it was just Fang’s own personal agenda set out to get revenge for a friend. The thought of the man having friends made Bunji shake his head, he found it a bit out of character for Fang, but then again he would not be surprise if there were others like Fang within the ranks of Raven Tail. Even so, he relaxed his shield, and weapon at the realization that this entire time he had been led on a goose chase by a man seeking his own personal vengeance, Bunji hated being lied to, and this thought of it being the slightest possibility that this was really a lie, and the claims of it being a mission nothing but a clever front really put him in a sour mood.
He already disliked Fang, he did not need to be doing the man any favors, putting his ass on the line for some cruel bastard who enslaved this poor girl who they were now moments away from attacking, and surely Fang would keep her within an inch of life just so he could indulge in some sick thrill of torturing her. Suddenly the phantom like woman called out to Bunji, pulling him from his thoughts he blinked a few times as he snapped back to reality, his crimson eyes rested on the girl, he stood there in silence for a moment the woman was right…He would not at her as if silently agreeing with her, “She’s right” he suddenly voiced aloud as he started walking with weapons at his side in a none threatening manner towards the woman’s side. Once he reached the woman he would turn on his boots to face Fang, standing on the opposition’s side now his crimson eyes rested on the cruel demonic man, “To enslave another living creature, is something I cannot condone…and I will not waste my effort, and time killing her, when all she did was break free from the grasp of a cruel Raven Tail member. Who did who knows what to her…” Bunji paused his crimson eyes rolled over in the woman’s direction, for a moment he gave her his usual gentle smile, then he turned his attention to Fang.
“The report will be simple, Fang died during the mission, I was forced to retreat back to the human world, and our target escaped…Cicero won’t think much of it” he explained raising his sword Bunji pointed the sharpened tip of the blade towards Fang. The blade began to give off a golden glow that would be familiar to Fang, “I never liked you Fang, nor did I ever agree with your methods…This is my chance to kill you, and rid the world of one more scumbag…” he explained chuckling in amusement as he realized how the tables had so suddenly turned in his favor now. He would get Fang back for what he did to him, and for everything the cruel bastard ever did to anyone, the sword was now in full glow ready to launch its attack. “I’m sorry” he said, but this was not said loud enough for Fang to hear, it was said just loud enough for the woman to hear without hesitation Bunji turned swiftly, and swung his sword the woman was no more than a foot of distance from him. The energy around his blade was unleashed in the form a vertical energy blade that shot towards the woman easily covering the one foot distance before either could blink.
If the attack hit, she would be hit with the full force of the energy blade at almost point blank range, it would cleave her in half down the middle. Hopefully killing her instantly, and shattering any chances Fang had to torture the poor girl, Bunji knew going against Raven Tail was foolish in itself, and he also knew he was not yet ready to stand against someone like Cicero, so for that selfish reason alone he chose to complete this mission. Whether it was a mission handed out by the guild, or Fang’s personal agenda, his instinct to survive drove him to commit an act that went against everything he believed, and he hated every fiber of himself for doing so, but in the end, he was just human, and he was far from perfect.
