OOC | Fairy Lab is a noncanon Fairy Tail and Magi crossover roleplay. That means there is some Fairy Tail content and some Magi content.

The site occurs in Earthland, from Fairy Tail. 90% of the population does not have magic. There are dragon slayers and god slayers, there is Zeref, Edolas and there were dragons at one time. Our Magic Types, Magical Items, Guilds and Countries are all from Fairy Tail.

We borrow the concepts of Dungeons, Djinn and Vessels from the series Magi.

If you don't understand something on the site, try thinking of it as a Mage Roleplay and go along with it. If you haven't watched/read Fairy Tail, you could learn a bit about it by going to the Fairy Tail Wiki.

AT THIS TIME |

• Dragons do not exist. They do, but no one knows where they are and it is mostly only Dragon Slayers that believe in them.
• All God Slayers have met Zeref at least once. All you need to know is that he is a thin and scrawny male with dark hair.
• Characters cannot freely move to and from Edolas. Only characters from Edolas know about it.
• Thanks to magic, Earthland is mostly on par with the real world technologically. However, technology uses lacrima power instead of electricity or fossil fuels.

Many years have passed since the days of the dragons. Many decades since the dark mage Zeref has been seen. It was not long ago that the fear of war and aggression was drilled into the heads of all those that live in Earthland. War had hit the major countries of the war, and tore most of them apart. But that is the past. That has all changed. Earthland has been quiet. Its countries have been building up.

It is a beautiful age. After all of that strife, countries like Fiore and Seven came into existence. They have nurtured the young of the ages of old, and turned them into citizens and leaders, the good kind. Those countries realized that power that magic had. They learned the ways of magic, and turned into something that can help everyone. Amost everyone.

Guilds were created, and Magic Users flocked to those guilds. They became near little countries floating in Fiore and Seven that had their own rules. Usually they would obey the laws of the countries, or the laws of the Magic Council that created laws for the Magical World. But there have been guilds that have turned away from that. Realizing their power, they have sought to create fear and destruction, all in an attempt to overtake the world.

That is not to mention the sudden appearance of magical towers throughout Earthland. Those places that have become known as Dungeons are a new mystery.

At this time the future of Earthland is unknown. It is the path of the Mage and the Non Mage that will transform it into what it is to become. For good or for bad, events will come their way, and they will overcome challenges, but ultimately it will be each and every individual that determines where the story of this world will go.

For now the citizens of this world have much to do. Dragon Slayers and God Slayers have suddenly appeared. Dungeons have become a compelling challenge. Celestial Spirits have begun to wander outside their world. Then finally the universe has been ripped, creating portals that suddenly and instantaneously teleport people between Edolas and Earthland.
