The day was grey with disinterest, cast a apathetic, ambient light overtop the country's center. Within the land's eye, a roman style, ringed colosseum stood tall, bathed in the light of the overcast skies above. The day's our - noon. There was a certain, pinkish creature sitting within the spectator's section encompassing the battle grounds. He wore a rather formal suit and mirrored the deary conditions with his bestial visage.

Of course, his gaze lingered upon the battle grounds. It was why he, and a number of others, were there. They all, likely, possessed a need to find something of interest and that something of interest for them was, indeed, combat. The creature, Himesh Oba Auberon Xerxes, or just Oba, sat with his arms folded across his chest. Thanks to nobody being present in front of him and his ways up from the front seats, he could see even with his stature. From behind, his large, circular ears comically poked up from the seat's back.

On the grounds below, there was nobody. There had not been a fight for a little while, perhaps because of the time of day - lunch; but Oba, all he required were, essentially, the Eucalyptus leaves he had stuffed in his pockets. He drew one and began to chew on it while keeping his stern face in place.

The silver sands of the desert reflected a calm light from the sinister setting sun above. Even as the skies were at peace, the men of the land clashed in scattered bouts, too small and insignificant to break the dead silence of the wasteland. Somewhere out in the violent winds, the king was making his rounds. What is there better to do then watching two men fighting for their lives in the hot heat of summer? Especially when it was over 30 degree! ''This is gonna be nice.'' The young prince was growing impatient as two female servants fanned him with large leafs. Alduin had enough of his father's babble he didn't give a molecule of shit about.

''Pull closer!'' The prince ordered before making his grandiose entrance within the arena. Shinning golden hair , mysterious red eyes , an above average muscular body and vested with gold jewelries, what could people ask more? Girls quickly exclaimed their inner desires of a prince in shinning armor while others/the males kept shut of their mouths and held their jealousies at bay. It wasn't rare to see the young prince arriving in such an exaggerated style though he likes to get the center of the attention. Being the heir of the richest kingdom of the West benefited him a lot. His father's power and influences reached all the way to Fiorre. Seven was just one of these numerous lands that they cared more or less about except for the gladiator fights that they held every now and then. Dispatching his servants to their temporary freedom , Alduin quickly strolled within the crowds as they got up and made place for him to sit down. ''Ha! This is going to be fun!'' The young and impatient prince exclaimed before looking at the mysterious big and furry guy next to him.

The epitome of extravagance wrapped within a sexually desirous, human hide possessed absolutely no trouble attracting the eyes of those present regardless of gender. Effortlessly, he drew attention like a flea to the cryptic, unknowable pits of a black hole and judging by the self-important atmosphere he ostensibly should be drowning in, he enjoyed it quite a bit. During his entrance, all Oba could think was, 'and who's that supposed to be?' His time spent within the woodlands and makeshift towns of Galuna eclipsed what was spent outside of it. Coupled with a lack of interest in humans and their many, many titles, Oba wouldn't be able to place a face onto one.

But clearly, they were royalty. The image was potent enough to burn itself eternally into the retinas of everybody there. It was the sole reason the individual drew his attention when he chose a seat so close in proximity to himself. He exclaimed it was going to be fun. Oba nodded with a default smile - the kind that read, 'yes, I agree. I am being polite.'

And then BOOM! The ground quaked beneath the weight of a ripped male with his exposed, bare chest and battle axe. Oba turned his focus down to the battle grounds. Something was starting. Joyous day. But then, on the other side of the ground appeared -- Oba grabbed onto the vacant seat in front of him, leaning in for a closer look with obvious surprise rinsing him through. There was a blue creature - an infinitely familiar creature of blue struting onto the grounds. He was approximately the same height as oba himself - though, their appearances were quite different and despite that, Oba still seemed rather disturbed by the sight.

Alduin was relaxing on his seat until a sudden explosion attracted his attention and made the prince stand up of his seat. ''What the hell?'' His eyes widened before exclaiming his current mood in a weird interrogative tone. The tension within the atmosphere suddenly raised to a higher level as people freaked out and ran away. Though Alduin and the weird looking man that sat beside him were different. They remained calm and didn't ran in every direction.

As the smoke cleared up , Alduin could begin to see what ever just appeared and spotted a blue creature. ''Now how did you get here?'' What kind of creature was that? Were they getting an alien invasion? It sounded silly though Alduin has always believed in the end of the world theory. Perhaps the aliens decided to invade now? But why now? Raising up his tone , Alduin quickly marched toward the mysterious creature without fear before speaking in all of his elegance. ''Where thee come from?'' He wasn't sure that the creature would understand him so he looked back at the other weird looking guy behind him for aid. ''Thee care for aiding me?'' Of course , the creature wouldn't understand them if he ever had a form of language though they should at least try to work something out. Beside , Alduin found that the weird looking man and the blue creature were quite alike. Perhaps he should begin a physical analysis?

Not only did the sight bring Oba to his feet, but it did the same for the majestic man beside him. Why, Oba couldn't know. All Oba knew was that he clearly was puzzled and voiced such quickly afterwards. So was he, but certainly not for the same reason. The beastkin of pinkish purple had little time to spend looking upon the prince in wonderment for something else would attract his attention. Apparently, those seated in the spectator area began running for their life. The whole situation was growing more and more surreal. Were they running in unbridled fear because a gladiator entered the grounds to fight his opponent at the other end or were they sprinting and soiling themselves because they spotted a cute, fluffy creature they might trip over if they weren't careful?

Well, the royal stranger beside him wasn't going to remain idle. He was going to make his way onto the battlefield. While he made his way from the center of the spectator area and to the grounds, the large, imposing male wielding the battleaxe started into a fit of laughter. "This is my opponent?" He asked in disbelief and evidently amused, especially after the small, blue thing parked itself right in front of him. All the alien-looking being did was tug at the red spacesuit-esque clothing it appeared to be wearing. The actual gladiator wouldn't and couldn't take any of what was happening seriously - until from nowhere, an anvil fell on his head, knocking him out.

"HOAX WIIIIIIIINS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" it screamed, which was about the time the prince arrived. Hoax wasn't paying attention, though. He was busying screaming at the sky in triumph. As for Oba. Well, the prince was a bit too far away to hear - especially with all the screaming.

Alduin advanced before being quickly interrupted by the entrance of an imprudent one. Swinging his axe at the prince have just granted him a sweet little sentence to the death. ''Do you not know who I am you foolish mortal!?'' Raising up his angered tone , Alduin spoke like if he was above the human kind. A being of greater existence he considered himself to be. That's right he was a royalty. He was an elite! Dodging the axe swing by hopping a few steps back , the young prince quickly decided to personally take action. Having no intention to threaten the little creature that just appeared nor the strange looking guy that was back at the seats , Alduin quickly turned toward the direction of the gladiator.

''A little punishment for what you did earlier.'' The young prince grinned maliciously before raising up his left index toward the combatant. A strong and illuminating light gathered at it's edge before dissipating toward into dozens plasma beams. From the look of the gladiator , he would find himself trapped in a sort of net before being hit by the multiple small beams coming in every directions (visual reference).  Expecting that the gladiator would be sent flying away , Alduin waited for the crowd to dissipate and the atmosphere to calm down before continuing what he was previously doing. ''Pardon! Now that no one is in the way , would thee mind explaining to me about how did you get here?''

Oh, poor Hoax. Seemingly, as soon as Alduin stepped into the ring, his opponent lost what remained of his interest within him and pooled it all upon the aphrodisiacal human. A mighty swing of his battleaxe quickly became a complete and utter fruitless act. It struck nothing but air and shortly after, ground. A 'slunk' was clearly audible, as were gasps and murmurings from those who knew the figure the brute was swinging his weapon at. Hoax watched with his lips curled, as if releasing a perpetual 'oo' and his hand lingered just beyond his mouth. He waited with baited breath at how such a situation would be resolved. Oba? Oba was likely face-palming up in the stands. Why he'd run out onto the battlefield was beyond him. 'Perhaps he has a fondness for beastkin,' where Oba's thoughts.

He was doing to deal him punishment. Hoax observed with obvious curiosity. Radiant light was called towards a finger (visual reference) and before long, unleashed onto the brute who proved far too immersed in surprisal do react. The cauterizing sting felt all over his body as well as the impact was enough to dismiss the burly combatant. He was left on his front, wisps of smoke rising skyward from his seared flesh. "Oh, how pretty!" Hoax exclaimed, hoping from one leg to the other as he released a furious round of applause."Where Hoax come from?" He directed a finger towards the entrance to the grounds. "From over there!"

With that out of the way, Oba could be seen making his approach. When he was in close enough of a proximity, Hoax looked at him with astonishment, then fright, then he started screaming again. In response, Oba covered his ears and beneath a wince, looked to him with clear annoyance.

'''Umm..'' Having nothing to say the prince contemplated the two animal looking people in front of him. Tha-Fuck was what he said inside of his mind. The situation couldn't be weirder then it is. First we have an alien invasion and now we have a sort of intergalactic alien beast lookalike meeting!? Was he missing on something here or was god teasing him? Alduin clearly saw the little blue guy pop out of nowhere yet he insist on saying that he came from the entrance. More importantly, the little blue guy didn't answer his question correctly. The where he asked wasn't about his location but from the planet he came from!

About to freak out any second now , Alduin pinched his left cheek to see if he wasn't daydreaming. Unfortunately, he wasn't. Upon further observation , he realized that the man that sat next to him earlier looked like a freaking koala. He was almost about to burst in a laugh before his interest got a hold of him. Advancing toward the koala looking man , the man touched his two furry ears as his eyes widened with surprise. ''Aaahh-! They are real!!!''

Ear curiosity. Both the hallucinating prince and the blue being known as Hoax, who clearly strutted onto the battlegrounds (3rd post), found themselves both feeling Oba' ears. He might have been more disturbed if such a thing were happening for the first time. When Oba tried to shoe the both of them away like flies, Hoax embraced him in a giant hug. "You're like a mini Hoax!" he commented as Oba tried to pry him off.

"No - that's exactly what you are!" The final word was when Oba tore himself away. After he did, he pointed an accusative finger towards him. "Where'd you come from..?" Echoing the prince's question, Hoax looked around, then centered his attention onto his counterpart.

"My momzers! WOO! She's the bestest momzers in all of Edolas!" Hoax's arms were open wide, directed towards the sky. He then proceeded to 'raise the roof.'

"...In all of where? Where in the seven Hells is that?" Oba asked, paused, and then grabbed his hand. Afterwards, Oba pulled him along until inside and off of the grounds outside.

"Oh, my. Are you courting Hoax?" After saying so, he quickened his pace and leaned against him, hugging his arm all the while. "I didn't know that's how you felt about Hoax." Amazingly, Oba dismissed his every, nonsensical word.

Chased aside , Alduin quickly reflected on the stupid act he did earlier. What if the beast wasn't passive and bid him? He needs to take precautions from now on seeing how there are two of them in front of him right now. They almost looked as if they were identical though one was a lot bigger then the other. A child and an adult perhaps? ''Ok , I'm lost here...'' The prince said in a confusing tone before raising his left hand to his forehead to check if he had a fever. Unfortunately, he didn't.

''I didn't understand about anything you were saying earlier... Edolas? Moma?'' Was this baby beast mom's name Edolas or was it actually the name of his homeland? Interrogative points were popping out one after another. At least , he didn't pose any sort of threat to him. Thank god that he wasn't violent or anything. Alduin had expected the aliens to be more... Well aggressive... Maybe come down to Earth and begin their world domination plan? They would conquer the human race with their advanced technology weapons but it looks like that it isn't the case. The real thing is far more different then what he realized ever since he was a kid. ''Well guess this is disappointing.''

"WOAH!"

Hoax exclaimed. "HOW DOES THE PRETTY LADY NOT KNOW WHAT EDOLAS IS!?" His black, depthless eyes shot right into Oba's own, then back at Sparkles, then back at Oba who decided to keep his focus to his front rather than return his astonished glances. Some kind of realization dawned on him just as they reached the inside. Hoax started looking frantically about before grabbing a hold of his own face and dropping to his knees. Craning his head up, he screamed. "POOPYCOCK, WHERE AM I?!" The final word was elongated, blended into a maddened scream.

His apparent rage spawned an aura of what appeared to be energy, golden, translucent. Oba took a few steps back, having no idea what was happening or what to do. Hoax's fur, in a sudden flash, changed to a golden colour. He was screaming all the while, somehow, and then abruptly, he exploded. Just exploded. There was a pile of ash left in his wake. Silence fell over the two of them, the area. Oba was still staring towards the pile of ash, mouth agape. There were no words to be made. He needed to digest the situation first, which was like eating an entire elephant. But you know what they say. How does one go about eating an elephant? One bite at a time.

''What the hell?...'' Alduin stood stoically as he gazed at the ground where the little blue creature still stood a few seconds ago. Was he playing with him or what? The young prince didn't understood shit about what it said though he would have liked to be more informed about it. At least the big pink koala figure managed to come to a mutual understanding with that thing. It didn't surprise the prince at all because they looked alike anyway.

''Um...'' Left in an awkward silence , his eyes were still opened up quite big. It would take some time for him to digest all of this. Now how was he going to explain what has happened to him in the previous 45 minutes to someone else? Anyone would take him for a crazy freak. Little blue screaming creatures that popped out of nowhere wasn't a normal phenomenon that you would see everyday. This Edolas place has triggered the interest of the young prince. He needed to know more about it. Perhaps these little savaged creatures would actually pose a threat toward humanity if they didn't act first? Perhaps all of this could also be a really long and miserable bad dream that he still hasn't waked up from yet. ''God please spare me.'' Alduin prayed as he looked toward the beast like man. He didn't want anything to do with this place anymore and was soon about to call his servants to leave.

"God, please spare me." It was during these piteous words did the scattered ash begin to move. Quickly, the bedimmed ash rushed into the red suit the creature had left behind. The once amorphic soot jettisoned from the suit, took the shapes of his appendages and head and before the two knew it, Hoax was back. Immediately upon his revival, he ran at the only human present within the area and hopped up and down.

"NO!" Hoax cried. "No spares for you!" The whole time, Oba was asking himself what kind of sorcery was being performed before him. He decided to dismiss the thought and just ask him what was on everybody's mind.

"What's this Edolas place you were talking about?"

Hoax whipped his head around, looked directly into Oba's eyes and the environment darkened. Oba looked about, noting the sparkles that rained down from the sky. "I can show you my world," Hoax sang in a beautiful voice seeming not his own. "Shining, shimmering, splendid! Tell me, mini me, now when did you last let your heart decide? I can open your eyes! Take you wonder by wonder! Over, sideways and under! On a magic carpet rideeeeeeee!" And with that, magic carpets began to fly all around him, though the air as he extended a hand towards his furry counterpart. One carpet swept him off his feet and Oba along with it and they began to circle the prince. All the while, Hoax was singing with a musical ensemble coming from nowhere, it would seem. Oba was handing on for dear life, completely confused as to what was going on.

"A whole new wooooorld! A new fantastic point of view! No one to tell us no or where to go! Or say we're only dreaming. A whole new woooorld! A dazzling place you never knew! But, when I'm way up here, it's crystal clear, that now I'm in a whole new world with you! Now, I'm in a whole new world with you! Unbelievable sights! Indescribable feeling! Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling~ Through an endless diamond sky! A whole new world! Don't you dare close your eyes! A hundred thousand things to see!

"I'm like a shooting star, I've come so far! I can't go back to where I used to be! A whole new world! Every turn a surprise! With new horizons to pursue, every moment, red-letter, I'll chase them anywhere! There's time to spare, let me share! This whole new world with you! A whole new world, that's where we'll be. A thrilling chase, a wondrous place for you and me..."

Then they landed back in front of the prince.

The young heir wasn't sure about what was currently happening. Series of events went by so fast that his mind can't even follow up with what is going on anymore. Though there is a thing that he is sure of happening. He was currently having a sort of emotional down burst. It was constantly changing and Alduin had no control over it anymore. Putting a hand upon his face , the prince watched the two beast like figures fly around him and sighed. ''Seriously...'' He frowned before wondering about what he should do.

There was no way to deal with them. Everything that came out of that little blue beast's mouth was but a bunch of none senses. Alduin hasn't heard one single honest answer since the beginning of their conversation. And here even the big guy teamed up with the little one to make him even crazier. ''You sing about such an utopic place yet there is no prove. Why don't you show it to me to prove it?'' Alduin asked in a playful tone. He thought about giving his two cents since they were also blabbing about such a world.

There was a gasp. It came from Hoax, who did so with an expression completely and utterly stormed. “There is no prove?” Hoax echoed, maintaining the abysmal grammar the boy had been consistently uttering. “No prove! How! How could you be so cold to Hoax!?” For a moment, it appeared the blue creature had been reduced to tears. After prying his hands away from his eyes, he continued. “Hoax doesn’t need prove! It’s a beautiful place! Beautiful I say! And I can’t get prove no more, because I can’t get back!” And then he threw himself at Oba, forcing him to catch him, which he did.

“Oh,” Oba replied. “I see. Well, that certainly is unfortunate.” There was no compassion in his voice. Clearly, he was just mouthing words – words he felt, at some level, he should; but really, he had little idea as to what he should be saying. After all, his past self was currently crying all over him. He couldn’t help but think time itself was beginning to unfurl or something. This individual could have just been an exper that looked like him, but he even had a name that was an acronym to his own.

“And what magic are you using to do your…illusiony…things?”

“Oh!” Hoax pushed himself off of Oba and tugged at his suit. “This is my Animation Magic Space Suit! It allows me to…

BEND THE RULES OF REALITY.” Then he started cackling manically.
