And thus came Skyle's first challenge, as there always was in every single one of his fights. What form to use? Should he make use of one of his specialized ones, and go for a tactical approach? Or should he go all-out, and use his strongest from from the get-go. Both sides of the coin had its own advantages and disadvantages. And it all depended on how well a combatant his red-haired opponent was. If he decided to go tactical, he may simply end up being overpowered. And if he chose to go all-out, he knew he would then have a time limit to face in this match. And he couldn't simply swap from one take-over form to another, no. He had to decide. And then, he watched as Helots finally revealed the nature of his magical capabilities. Sanguine magic? Had to be. The material of his magical construct was crimson in color, a liquid, and it came from his being. He scoffed in amusement. That was going to be a bit troublesome, for the more wounds he inflicted on him, the higher the amount of material he had to work with. He would have to end this fast.
And so, he picked his form.
His arms began to mutate, fading away its human exterior to be replaced by plates of exoskeleton, held together by protected, thick muscle. His fingers would begin to shrink at the tips, turning into claws. His legs transformed as well, but it was hidden under his pants. It did become slightly larger, though. In fact, the exoskeleton began to cover the whole of his body, like armor, leaving only his face. Across his forehead, six black protruding orbs came about, representing the eyes of the respective predator he had chosen. He would furrow his eyebrows, clicking his tongue once as he felt the bestial instinct begin to take over slightly. There, on front of him, was his prey.
And the huntsman spider was eager to hunt.
He pushed off both of his feet, surging forward in a flash of speed, arms outstretched with clear intention to make use of his claws. And he carried a twisted grin on his face. As he came near Helot, he would swing his right arm inwards, fingers slightly curved and tenses up.
