‘Interesting’ was all that crossed his mind as the woman gave him the very brief explanation however she was wrong in one point, that was claiming that he would not understand her situation of course he damn well understood her. Let was one of the biggest outcasts around his own comrades sworn officers of the Rune Knights shunned him for his barbaric ways, their own general surely wanted him to be thrown in a cell where he would rot for the rest of his days. If there was something Let understood it was not belonging, the only person to ever accept him was the very person who brought him to this world unfortunately she was taken too quickly from this world leaving her only son to fend for himself. To learn that the only way he would survive this harsh world would be through becoming the most brutal monster to ever walk the face of the planet, he had come to understand the world to be a very cruel place this is why he was who he was.
Soon he was pulled from deepest thoughts as the woman spoke once more, it seemed she would soon leave amber eyes rested upon her emotionless face searching those eyes that lacked any sign of humanity. This woman Vivien as she called herself was someone of interest to the red haired man, whatever she was he wanted to find out he would not soon forget what he witnessed here on this rainy day. The woman would soon depart leaving him with only corpses as companions, and a freak tree looking around at the scene around him the shirtless man knew he would have to file a full report of all this, explaining everything in detail. He sighed at the thought of all that paperwork but then shrugged, “I can always put it off for a few weeks…” with that he knelt down next to one of the uniformed corpses reaching for their shoulder radio. “Private Let, I am requesting corpse cleanup for two officers fallen in the line of duty I found the corpses…over” he waited then heard the instruction the static infested voice gave, “Roger” he said before dropping the radio from his hand.
Walking over Let threw on his soaked clothing he didn’t want the cleanup crew, and other officers to question his being shirtless in the rain. Leaning against a nearby wall the red head waited all the while his mind wondering about that Vivien woman.
