It was roughly four in the afternoon down in the deepest depths of Mt. Hakobe. About several hundred yards away from the edge of a thick forest was a partially hidden base. It looked like a grey, cubical building that stuck up a couple dozen meters from the ground. This heavily implied there were underground quarters to the heavily reinforced structure. Just at the edge of the forest, tucked behind a barricade of towering trees, was a significantly armored vehicle. It looked like a cross between a lamborghini and a tank. Its advanced technology was hiding it from any radars inside of the military base.

That very placement was the rendezvous for the mission. Her partner, should she be granted one for the endeavor, had been supplied the exact coordinates for the meeting point. Within the hidden vehicle was Julianne, who was eyeing the distant military base like a hawk, analyzing any movement she could find. As of yet, there was nothing available to sate her curiosity. Currently, she was waiting to see if she would have a comrade. More importantly, she was dwelling on the circumstances.

It was a damn shame Morales got captured. He outranked her and served the people for years and years. Devotion and benevolence like that instantly garnered her respect. He had even helped her with her training, supported her when she went through those three months of vigorous hardships. Even if it cost her life, she would bring him back on this very day.

 I'M WAKING UP TO ASH AND DUST

The depths of Hakobe was a pretty looking place, despite all contrary belief, Alduin enjoyed the quiet life in context to the city life. Here was where the wind spoke to his ears, the smell of salt and grass flooded his nose, endless open sky, and riches, should you know where to find it.

Alduin had been resting , a few moments before engaging in this high profile rescue mission. A rune knight member had him tag along with her because to be honest, these rune knights can't do anything by themselves, and they always had procedures to follow which made Alduin lost his hope upon them a long time ago. Especially about how they handled the zombie invasion that just happened. But he needed money to satisfy his princess's needs and wanted to give Cassandra the best things in this world. He believed that the mission shouldn't be too hard, it would be like helping a puppy run away from thousands of hungry prison inmates-- the analogy was a bit strange, but it served the purpose.

''Ahh here we are.'' He exclaimed upon arriving at the destined location before finding a weird vehicle. No doubt his teammate was inside. The only problem was how to enter this vehicle now? The rune knights always had the top technological gadgets though sometime they seemed a little bit too over complicated. ''...'' He sighed before shifting through the metallic surface as he appeared next to his partner who was a young blonde female officer to his surprise and greeted. ''Well, hello there! My name's Alduin and I'm the mage from Fairy Tail. Let's make the introduction brief so we can finish this mission and move on ok? You have any plans?'' The youth initially though that this mission was going to be done in stealth but looks like he was wrong. He began to question himself after seeing this huge ass vehicle and wondered about what they were going to do with it. Where they going to drive this tank into the enemy camp or what?

Julianne looked through the tinted glass to see that a blonde male arrived at the rendezvous. She was mindful of an approaching person because of the radar installed in the vehicle. Needless to say, once the man became proximal to the vehicle, she popped open the unorthodox door on the passenger's side, allowing entry into the construct; after all, that would be the friendly, than letting one suffer hypothermic symptoms from exposure to the harsh climate of Mount Hakobe. When this volunteer was next to her in her stylized tank, he seemed pretty amiable given his hearty greeting. It was refreshing, given its rarity nowadays, and also because of her immense stress lately.

"Hi, my name's Julianne, but my friends simply call me Julia." A light smile brushed her lips as she turned her gaze towards her approximate radar. "Currently, our numbers don't compare to theirs, so I felt a stealthy approach would accommodate the very delicate operation at hand. If we raise alarm, we can carve our way through them while they're frantic, back to this car." As she explained, she lightly drummed against the steering wheel with her index finger. "Speaking of which, if you're wondering, I have a method of concealing this thing while we're in there, so it doesn't raise suspicion."

Contradictory to his beliefs , Alduin was surprised after seeing how friendly Julianne was when she introduced herself. Whether she was an exception or Alduin was stereotyping their gang of blunt and senseless rune knights. ''It is my pleasure to work with you.'' He exclaimed back with a friendly tone changing the serious attitude he showed earlier.

''You have a method to conceal this big tank? And that would be?'' Never judge a book by its cover was what Alduin has always been taught. Though, he has never been able to apply the proverb to anyone until now. Julianne was a lot more intelligent then she seemed to be. Her outer appearances led him to think that she was the fair maiden type.

At the time, he thought that this mission was a little bit off-the-cuff, but it wasn’t like that at all. Julianne carefully thought about the procedures, each steps of the mission and even how they were going to proceed. It seems like that she is the intelligent and strong kind of woman A strong and independent woman who need no man!. ‘’I must say, I am fairly impressed!’’ He complimented once more before waiting for further orders. He was confident about her plan and was eager to know more about it in detail before moving out. ‘’In case if the plan fails, you could always leave me behind and use me as the source of distraction to get away with the hostage?’’ He spoke half serious and half joking. It all depended on her choices since this was Rune Knight Affairs and Alduin was only here to help. He knew that the enemies were going to be strong but it excited him. His dragon instincts and the blood that was flowing within him are having reactions. Although he isn’t the one man army kind of type, he was ready to take them head on in case if Julianne ever wanted to.
