GRIMOIRE HEART The chronicles of this world, a collection of stories. Every life lived and every life ceased, riveting tales. Novels are not written by men. They are life. They are lives. People live, and so stories are made. There is no room for discussions of fact and fiction; the tales have already been woven.
They say you must learn from history. But knowing how the story end does not change its course. No. There is no stopping it. No one should stop it. But the role of protecting fate has not been handed to any one individual. It had not been taken by any one group.
Grimoire Heart will neither watch patiently till the end nor try to change that ending.
We just want to see it now.
Grimoire Heart does not call itself evil. Their goals are not innately evil. Though they may be an illegal guild, when it comes to their intentions, they are doing what is right. Grimoire Heart, depending on the situation may appear Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil or Chaotic Neutral.
Overall, it is Grimoire Heart's goal to learn more about this story known as Earthland. They want to know history, novels, monuments, treasures and more. Anything that might aid them in understanding where the world is going, they are interested in. In seeking these items and answers they will not wait around. They are illegal and considered evil because they will do everything necessary to get what they want.
Grimoire Heart's guidelines do not adhere to laws or rules banning brute force, violence or worse. However, the guild mistress would prefer that all resources focus on the target. Her recommendation is that crimes should not be performed unless they are necessary to reach the goal.
Do not confuse that as meaning that she would not do something horrible to get the next lead. If the fastest method is the darkest method that will be the way to go. In the same breath though, Grimoire Heart will loyally work with light or legal guilds or enforce the law if it means completing their task.
Grimoire Heart has a story motif fitting of their name. Members that can associate themselves with famous tales will meet the mistresses fancy better than others.
One of the reasons for that is the most common method Grimoire Heart employs when going after a major lead. In going after the lead they will attempt to mimic some story or tale, partly to show the world what they are about and partly to teach the world a story that they may not have heard.
