Hakobe, renown for it's water so warm, that it never freezes in these cold climates. These hot springs are natural tourist attractions, bringing in people far and wide to sample the refreshing waters. Due to the large amount of tourists, the local shops and hot springs simply raked in the cash, their pockets constantly lines with gold, but not anymore. Something had happened recently, something so shocking and fierce that the very ground itself crumbled away. Whatever it was was even powerful enough to cease the flow of natural hot waters, therefore putting a rather large plug in the hot springs business.
But what was it?
What had happened to suddenly stop a flow of natural hot spring water? It couldn't have frozen over, could it? No no, the waters were far beyond freezing point that any attempt in them freezing over would have melted away, making more water in the process. No, something else had happened and it had been put to a few mages to try and sort this problem out. But now they had a different problem, and that problem was Lyra Malkavia.
She was a good girl, young, innocent ish, and very keen. The problem was unfortunately in her unreliability and unpredictability. She was an unstable girl at the best of times, her attention wavering, but sometimes she had spouts of pure destruction. What kind of help could she be in a place like this? Well, as long as she had fun, she didn't care. Her face was all aflutter with the prospects of new playmates, would they disappoint her? Oh they had better not, lest they lose their heads.
Her usual attire of that lovely victorian type dress was worn with no thoughts to the bitter cold, nor did her appearance let on how cold it actually was. In her minds eye she was as warm as if she was on the beach in summer, although her blue lips may say otherwise, not that she noticed. But there you had it, there was the little girl known as Lyra, waiting for other people to arrive.
It was no fun playing by yourself after all, teehee.
