Originally this was going to be a long, long post detailing all of the changes that happened today. But proboards and my internet decided to throw away that post. Anyway, today FL has observed several significant changes. These have been made with consideration of the input of some of our members.
Those changes include:
The addition of the Rune Knight, Gladiator, Royalty and Quatro Cerberus membergroups.
Rune Knights are the knights of the Magic Council, which is the body that governs the magic world. They are led by the Rune Knight General, which is similar to a Guild Master, and each person below him or her will have a rank that correlates with the character ranks. The Rune Knights will have divisions decided by the General. However, when it comes time to swap generals, divisions under the previous General should not suddenly disappear.
Gladiators are Non Mage who live to fight. Day in and day out they battle at the Coliseum in Seven against other Gladiators, beasts and slaves. They may seem brutal, but they do have a code of honor. That honor ensures that, when they find a strong enemy, they may be able to fight that person again later.
Quatro Cerberus is a mage guild in Fairy Tail, but here it will be a Non Mage guild. It may also be called a gang. In this group the leader will always be the stronger member of the group.
The Royalty membergroup includes characters who are the leaders of each of the major countries. They are not powerful themselves, normally, but they have major political power. Their decisions will decide where the countries are headed.
There will also be a 'Slave' membergroup added after this is posted. That group will include characters that, for one reason or another, have become slaves.
Besides those groups there are also several new magics added the other day. If you want to change magics, you may do so in the Modification Board, without using your magic swap for the month.
Physical abilities have been expanded upon. They now include physical attacks, weapon abilities and physical abnormalities. Physical abnormalities would be like a mermaid tail or cat ears. A physical ability will be able to make productive use of those.
Then, finally, I would like to say that we have been awfully lenient on the canon rules since the site started. However, I don't want new members thinking that the rules aren't enforced, so starting three days from now, this is a warning, the rules will all be in effect. Before then you should all decide on what canon you want to keep, and post In Characterly if you haven't recently.
