You know, it really hadn't been a bad week, or, a bad day for that matter at any rate. So far so good, but, then again, Terra, had only been up an hour or so. The sun had risen, peaking between the curtained windows of her room, and, she had slunk down in her pajamas to the tavern across the way from her own residence of Fairy Hills. It was a bit too warm for long bottoms and her tight-sleeved shirt, donned in several layers of blues and decorated in puffy light red clouds, but, she did not seem to mind in the least. She also liked knowing that no one would judge her for not changing first either.
When she opened those doors, the doors of Fairy Tail, it was as loud as ever, not so cramped though in the morning as it would be by the time everyone else started to wake themselves up in about two or so hours, nor, nearly as rambunctious. At least, there were no members brawling with one another – unless you counted the few kids already dreaming about their first big adventure; their first important missions that some day they would be allowed to go on. Still young herself, she imagined of such things as well, just, was a bit more . . . reserved about it. In fact, hardly spoke about it at all, let alone sifted into conflict.
For a Fairy Tail member she was perhaps too quiet, but, she could be just as fiery as the lot of them when she wanted to be. Seriously, just ask anyone that has taken her roar dead-on and they will set you straight right away. Then again, in almost all those instances, a display of magical prowess had not just been warranted, but, completely necessary to ensure protection of self and others. Most of the time, she could not help but give respect where it was due, in addition, to a patient sort of kindness.
The simple fact is, she does not enjoy rowdiness as much as her other guild mates, but, she likes them all the same. After, well, I'd best not get into that for now, too long of a story, but, suffice to say, when she did not have a home to go to, this rambling lot took her in, and, the rest is pretty much history. There were slayers here, as well, others that knew what had happened, but, either did not want to talk about it, or, could not because they did not know anymore than she. And, you now what, right now, years later, it was still alright. She could cope as long as she was here.
Sitting alone at one of the many tables, Terra, flipped a page in the book she held, sighed, and, thereafter let it fall, resting it flat against the wooden-top. With a thud it closed and she shoved it away from herself, leaning back while tossing some pink bangs off to the side. From where she sat she could see a couple others grabbing their first meal of the day. A few liked the cereal, others went the fried and cooked route, and, a couple had cracked eggs that they were chomping down on. As they went on, she fixed up he hair a bit, tying off its locks in a pony-tail that dropped down to the side.
Whenever someone would walk by, she'd give them a warm smile and a soft-spoken good morning. Some of them were in their pajamas too, but, several had enough sense to have changed out of their night-ware. Eventually, whomever happened to be working the bar, sent her over a bowl of cereal, and, she too began to eat, slurping up the milk and the grainy bits in large, greedy gulps. Skimping out on dinner the night before had not been her best idea, but, it did make the first meal of the day taste oh so delicious; she would probably have seconds.
