HAIR White, Neck length and styled in somewhat random spikes.
PHYSICAL Kai is a guy of slightly above average height, standing at six feet even. He is well muscled, and as such is somewhat heavy, though lean, and weighs 190 lbs. His clothing consists of a sleeveless black shirt, black loose pants that come up above his waist with a leather hem that is gold in color. On his lower arms there are long leather cuffs that go from his wrist to just below his armpit. This clothing of his is actually his basic armor, which has various properties that increase as his magical power increases. His shoes are made of black leather as well, a large billowing traveling cloak, and finally, he wears a black cloth scarf that hangs down to about his hips when not being blown around.
INVENTORY Kai's Half Moon Blade is pretty much your ordinary katana, 40 inches from pommel to tip, except that it's edge is reversed. Instead of the outside of the curve being bladed, the inside of the curve is. This is carried on Kai's hip.
ABNORMALITIES Kai's Amber guild tattoo is located upon his left shoulder.
Personality POSITIVE TRAITS - Logical: Kai has been raised a thinker and philosopher above most things, and as such, is logical about most situations, unless if conflicts with his good humor. Things such as jokes and puns are omitted from his sense of logic if they are illogical. Aside from those situations however, many of Kai's actions are based purely on logic and reason, even if that logic is flawed.
- Open minded: Now, Kai is indeed logical, but that doesn't mean he isn't open to new ideas, as illogical as they may be. Whether it be a battle plan, a training regime from his superior, or just an idea from someone in the guild, Kai will take what they say into consideration and if deemed stupid or counterproductive, he will dismiss it, but if he finds merit in it, he will be willing to try it.
- Devoted: Once Kai is set on something, there is little that anyone else can do to talk him out of it. Unless they give him a very logical argument as to why what he is doing is wrong, he will see what he is doing through to the end. This devotion also applies to his allies, as he doesn't abandon them unless the logic lines up with his morals and his friend's needs. If they need him to help and he believes he can do something to help, he will stay, but if he believes that they can take care of it and they say they can take care of it, he will step back, and possibly split up from them if needed.
- Courageous: An attribute that is somewhat predictable in a Fairy Tail wizard, Kai is as courageous as any other wizard looking to be in the guild, and doesn't run from battle unless it would be stupid to stay, as his logic trumps his courage in times when he is utterly outclassed, and he will put only some fight into a battle in which he has no chance of victory. This changes if he is in a team, where he respects the abilities of his teammates, as then he has something to protect and people to fight along side with, which bolsters his courage.
- Good Sense of Humor: Quite the good-humored guy, Kai will find humor in a good number of jokes and situations, but he rarely give more than a quick laugh before becoming silent once more. There are rare occasions however where something presented to him is found so utterly hysterical that he breaks loose, and lets out a loud booming response. Jokes are rarely told by him, as he is more of a listener than a teller.
NEGATIVE - Closed: Despite all of his involvement with other mages and his willingness to work with them, Kai rarely reveals anything about himself, also keeping his emotions bottled up inside him instead of talking about them with people. This can lead to long bouts of depression if something disastrous happens to someone close to him, or a sudden outburst of anger if things around him are irritating.
- Jealous: When Kai has something that he covets he will rarely be willing to give it up to anyone without good reason, or being beaten to a pulp for it.
- Unpredictable: Because of his closed attitude, its hard to predict what Kai will do, he might suddenly decide that he's going to run up a nearby mountain as often as he would decide to have a drink at the guild hall.
- Packrat: As a Re Quip Mage, Kai has a great number of possessions, any of those, there are a number of things which are seemingly useless, but Kai will still keep around, rendering his room a mess that only he can make sense of.
- Straight Forward: Due to his possibly overzealous like of women, Kai can often come on a bit too strongly to the ones he finds attractive, despite his closed personality. This can warrant varying reactions from his quarry, but no matter what he continues to do it.
LIKES - Sushi: As a kid, Kai and his parents went out for a sushi dinner when they came home from a quest, and with them gone, the memories of those dinners provides some small medium of comfort when he has sushi.
- The Guild: As a member of Fairy Tail Kai has a great pride in the guild, even if he will be one of the lowest level members. That aside, he likes the people in the guild, most of them at least.

[/b] Northern Set ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Northern Set is a set of armor as well as a pair of blades, all revolving around Ice. The blades are both long swords with light blue metal blades, each 45 inches long. The armor comprises of 8 pieces, a chest/back piece, two gauntlets, two greaves, a pair of armored boots, and a fauld. It has no helm. ITEM NAME: Western Set ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Western Set is a set of armor as well as a double bladed staff, 84 inches long, both revolving around Water. The blades are made of a metal which is deep blue and green in color. The armor is simply a metal threaded tunic, and a pair of armored boots. ITEM NAME: Eastern Set ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Eastern is a set of armor as well as a rapier, 32 inches long, both revolving around Wind. The blade is made of a metal that is so light colored, it appears to simply be the silhouette of a blade, a disturbance in the air. The armor is a light set of robes and cloth shoes. ITEM NAME: Southern Set ITEM DESCRIPTION: The Southern Set is comprised of a pair of swords, each with slim and straight double-edged blades. Both blades also have an upward-curved bladed prong near the tip of one side of blade and another one near the base of the blade's other side. Unlike the other Compass Rose sets, this one does not have armor. ITEM NAME: Burst Armor ITEM DESCRIPTION: Burst Armor minus the scarf. Along with the armor itself, Kai wields a pair of trench knives, each a foot from handle to tip, from which he channels part of the armor's magic. [/ul] PHYSICAL ABILITIESMAGICAL ABILITIES[/b] Roar of the Light Dragon ABILITY RANK: C ABILITY TYPE: Light Dragon Slayer Magic ABILITY DESCRIPTION: After taking a large inhale, Kai fires a highly concentrated beam of light, a laser if you will, from his mouth. The beam can be up to 20 feet wide and travels for 130 feet before dissipating. It can be brought down to as little as two feet wide to extend its range to 150 feet. DURATION: 1 turn COOLDOWN: 2 turns ABILITY NAME: Talons of the Light Dragon ABILITY RANK: C ABILITY TYPE: Light Dragon Slayer Magic ABILITY DESCRIPTION: Enveloping both arms in blinding light, Kai swings them in a large arc, firing three crescent shaped beams from each hand. These blasts fly at 40 mph and are four feet long each. They can travel up to 100 feet before dissipating. This can also be used as a point blank attack, instead, imbueing the attack with highly increased damage. DURATION: 3 turns (Blasts are 1 turn, increased damage at close range is 3 turns) COOLDOWN: 2 turns INNATE RANK: Novice INNATE PINNED: Northern Set INNATE EFFECT: While wearing the Northern Set Kai can lift a 240 lbs object and throw a 145 lbs object with ease. This also translates into stronger sword strikes. INNATE RANK: Novice INNATE PINNED: Western Set INNATE EFFECT: With this armor set Kai is granted resistance to Water based spells. INNATE RANK: Novice INNATE PINNED: Eastern Set INNATE EFFECT: While wearing the Eastern Set Kai can run at 17 mph for long periods of time. INNATE RANK: Novice INNATE PINNED: Southern Set INNATE EFFECT: While wearing the Southern Set Kai can charge the blades of the set with lightning to increase their damage output, dealing extra lightning damage upon contact. ABILITY NAME: Burst Drive ABILITY RANK: C ABILITY PINNED: Burst Armor ABILITY DESCRIPTION: With this armor on Kai able to fire a conical burst of energy from either trench knife or the boots of the armor, producing concussive damage along with the knives cutting damage. These blasts extend for five feet from the source and grow to be three feet wide at the end. DURATION: 4 posts COOLDOWN: 2 posts ABILITY NAME: Frozen Crescent ABILITY RANK: D ABILITY TYPE/PINNED: Northern Set ABILITY DESCRIPTION: Frozen Crescent is an ability that is suited for rapid combat allowing Kai to fire quick, crescent shaped blasts of ice from the tips of his sword blades, these have a range of 40 feet and travel speed is at 30 mph. These blasts inflict frost and cutting damage. The cutting damage is equal to a stroke of either sword, and the frost damage done is about at the level of a D-Rank ice spell. 4 shots can be used per activation. DURATION: 2 Turns COOLDOWN: 2 Turns ABILITY NAME: Aqua Bullet ABILITY RANK: D ABILITY TYPE/PINNED: Western Set ABILITY DESCRIPTION: With each swing of the staff-sword Kai can fire a high pressure water bullet, two inches in diameter, up to four of these can be fired per activation. It's compact size allows it to fly at 30 mph for seventy feet before dissipating. DURATION: 2 turns COOLDOWN: 2 turns ABILITY NAME: Bladed Zephyr ABILITY RANK: D ABILITY TYPE/PINNED:Eastern Set ABILITY DESCRIPTION: With a swing of the Rapier from the Eastern Set Kai can send bursts of bladed wind at the opponent to slice them where the wind contacts them or the wind can surround the blade and inflicts cutting damage equal to his sword stoke either way. The range of this is 50 feet and each wind blade is three feet wide. Up to four blasts or whirlwinds can be made per activation. DURATION: 2 posts COOLDOWN: 2 posts ABILITY NAME: Running Lightning ABILITY RANK: D ABILITY TYPE/PINNED: Southern Set ABILITY DESCRIPTION: By slicing through the air or stabbing the ground with either of the blades of the Southern Set, Kai sends a large amount of electricity through the ground which runs towards the opponent, leaving the ground behind it upturned. The range of this spell is 50 feet and 2 shots can be fired per activation. This inflicts lightning based damage. DURATION: 2 posts COOLDOWN: 2 posts ABILITY NAME: Flight of Thunder ABILITY RANK: C ABILITY TYPE/PINNED: Southern Set ABILITY DESCRIPTION: While wielding the Southern Set Kai is capable of teleportation, allowing him to disappear and reappear anywhere within 100 feet of himself when this is cast. When he disappears a sound similar to that of a firework is produced, along with a quick, bright yellow flash. However, when he reappears the edges of the southern set are brittle for a few seconds prohibiting attack right after use.
