Kai's immediate reaction at the black-haired girl's aggressive stance was to move into a combat mode of his own. Both of his swords were held out, ready to guard or to attack if need be, as the girl had weapons of her own pointing at Kai. Despite all this, he still held a stoic face as lightning crackled down his swords, if she made a move to fight, he was ready, and unless she stood down, he would classify her as a threat. It was only when she burst out laughing that his muscles loosened a little and when she fell to her knees, laughing harder still, he let himself move back to a calm stature.
Truth be told, this girl, this little girl, was a bit...creepy...in the way that she shifted from her aggressive state to this one of relentless mirth, this girl, without a doubt, was insane. But Kai just continued to watch her, aware of what she was laughing about.
Up until now, the blonde, who Kai now recognized as a mage who was also from Fairy Tail. She wasn't one he had spoken with really, but had seen around. He remembered her name to be something like Egrasiya, but he wasn't positive. But, it was only now that the black-haired girl was seemingly disabled by laughter that she spoke. Though, telling him to get food ready for this stranger wasn't exactly appealing to him. Then again, he hadn't eaten since lunch on the previous day, so why make some sushi?
"Yeah, yeah." In another yellow flash his swords disappeared, and a set of black leather armor appeared on himself, covering up what had been exposed. "I'm not making anything big, just some sushi, alright?" His tone was still irritated, but that would change once he got to sushi making. Turning, he walked away from the pair and back into the guild's dark mess hall. He didn't need lights to know where the ice chest and his sushi supplies were. So, by touch alone he pulled out all of the fixings he had stashed, seaweed, Salmon Roe, pickled ginger, and wasabi would go in these. And, with them all out as well as his roller, he headed to a table close to the door and began to roll them, careful to layer just enough wasabi on the seaweed to give the rolls a kick, but not to be too hot. "Also," he added, "I'd suggest you get her to quiet down before she wakes the whole guild up. You don't want Skaldi to be awake at this hour." Now he focused upon the sushi, each ingredient had to be carefully added to be perfect, he had been doing this for years, and knew just how to make it where the sushi was delicious as well as out of the ordinary. "Well? Come on now, get inside and shut the door."
