Infinitely different were his strides from past to present. Awkward, mislead, mistaken. His footing transitioned from humble, island soil to a kesmit-woven path of carpet; a path refined, not wild and vivid to the point of searing with purpose, divinity. Yet, there he stood within the beginning of beginnings. His synchronicity with the dominant, sentient species he most resembled was fragile, presenting himself with a certain conspicuousness; but, not as conspicuous as the dog that did not belong.
There was a child, perhaps ten years old, walking aside a female who looked to be a promising parental guardian. The problem was, the youth brandished a rather tasty looking hotdog. There was a modest degree or irony nestling within the situation. All in all, there was a hungry canine pacing about the fair's entrance and it eventually just could not take it anymore! when it caught sight of the cylinder of processed, possibly parasite-laden meat.
So, it darted towards those posed at the fair's entrance, purposed with the ask of taking money in exchange for admittance into the grounds. "Hey!" and other such exclamations were cast towards the animal in the hopes of them bearing enough weight to stop the animal in its tracks; though in actuality, the words were simply born of desperation. You know, that panic that nags for one to do something even though they do not possess enough time to formulate what it is they should be doing.
They chased after it, which left Ryo with the most opportune time to enter without having to pay with his non-existent money. Did he like Fairs? No, he didn't know what one was, but he knew whatever it was, it was not free. In fact, it appeared nothing was. Not truly, anyway. The act was purely to satisfy his curiosity.
The canine ran by, slobber flying everywhere, hitting of ladies in the face and shit. It ran right by Summer with hotdog between a sharp line of teeth. It kept running followed by a collection of the event's security.
