Goal:
It has become a Custom of Akane Town to hold a Festival every year. The theme and name is constantly changing, but their objective has always been to gather as many people from as many places as possible. Their ambition is shown in how they have set up an area the size of a large town where the festival is put together. But to craft a festival of that size is too large of a task for just the people of Akane. They need help to build the attractions and keep away anyone that would want to ruin the festival.
That said, the success of the festival is entirely dependent on how many people help, and what is accomplished. Here are the tasks that need to be performed:
SECURITY: Due to the size of the festival, there is always the chance that someone or groups of people will try to ruin it. There are many ways that can be prevented though. There could be people keeping watch during the festival, or preemptive traps and surveillance added before the festival.
ENTERTAINMENT: Actors, Dancers, Singers, Artist and more are needed. Again, entertainment can be tackled many ways, and in some cases the help does not have to stay for the festival. They could create comes or activities beyond performances.
SHOPS: Festivals aren't festivals without food and merchandise. That is why people are needed to open stands or help set up stands. There are stands of all sorts of sizes.
CONSTRUCTION: Fences, buildings, tents and more need to be set up.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Decorations, Signs, Advertising and more are necessary to make the festival fun and exciting.
Every one of these areas needs to be developed or the festival will be a failure. That means there will be many people working to turn the festival into a success. Any character can join the event. It'll be a fun way for characters to meet new characters too.
This year the theme of the festival is the white cherry blossom. It will organized japanese style, and require the wearing of kimonos. There will also be a shrine on one end of the festival grouns.
Reward: The reward will be decided when the festival comes on July 7th (:P). Right now the plan is for it to match the Edolas reward, so D-Class or 2 D-Class spells or 5,000 J.
Rewards will go out on July 7th. A character cannot receive a reward from this and the Edolas event.
Additional Rule: There must be an equal amount of work and socializing. I'll understand if a character is not a people person, but there should be an attempt at conversation, development, discovery. This is a canon event, so even if your character wouldn't go to the festival, it still matters.
