Reference 1Reference 2INVENTORY Ofuda: Slips of specially treated paper that Seika uses to perform his magic easier than he would normally. The strips of paper are 5x3 inches in size, and the Runes drawn on them are set to only activate once their name has been said aloud while [redacted] is within range and focusing on the ofuda being used, for both the safety of himself and others. The different ofuda are separated into different groups based on which spell they are used for, and nothing will happen if he uses the wrong Ofuda for the spell he is attempting to cast. [Redacted] is able to throw the slips of paper accurately up to fifteen feet away from him, after which they succumb to the air currents and go wherever the wind takes them. The ofuda themselves are not magical Ceremonial Dagger: A small dagger used as a last resort for self-defense. The ornately designed handle is only large enough for one hand to hold it at a time, while the blade is seven inches long and has no decoration. A small, red tassel hangs from the bottom of the dagger's grip. The dagger is worn inside Seika's belt, being hard to see due to the flowing nature of his clothes. Pad&Pen: The only way Seika is allowed to safely and 'legally' communicate with unmarried women of any age. The pen is also used to alter the Runes on his ofuda to make them fail. ABNORMALITIES-Seika's eyes gain a pentagram within the iris that encircles the pupil whenever he uses his magic. -As per the rules of his family, Seika is unable to speak with any woman near his age or younger, and is only allowed to speak with women that have already married or are at least fifteen years older than him. He carries a pen and small pad to communicate with women until he knows whether he is allowed to speak with them or not. The only exception to this rule is his fiancee, who he personally chooses. When the correct ofuda is placed on a material, that material will become engulfed in flames.* The flames will burn anything that touch them, including the creator, and can easily spread out of control if not used carefully. If the rune is drawn incorrectly, it will suck up all flames created be Seika within ten feet of the seal. *Example: Placed on the metal of a sword. Only the blade will ignite, the handle will be unaffected unless the seal is applied to it as well. DURATION: Two posts COOLDOWN: Two posts ABILITY NAME: Containment Seal ABILITY RANK: Novice ABILITY TYPE/PINNED: Rune ABILITY DESCRIPTION: A Seal used to hold a target in one place for either interrogation or to allow one's allies to prepare for a counter-attack. Seika cannot move while using this ability, and it can be broken by two Novice spells or one D-rank spell, regardless if they hit the outside or the inside of the container. The container created is a box that rises up to one foot higher than the contained target, but cannot exceed ten feet in any direction, and is created by an ofuda placed on each of the four bottom corners. This is Seika's most magic-exhausting spell and takes one post to prepare, else it will fail. If the Runes on the ofuda are marred in any way the spell will not take effect, but will still consume Seika's magic as if it had. If the Ofuda are moved from their set position, the spell will immediately end. DURATION: Four posts COOLDOWN: Six posts ABILITY NAME: See No Evil ABILITY RANK: Novice ABILITY TYPE/PINNED: Rune ABILITY DESCRIPTION: A Seal that renders the afflicted target invisible momentarily, though it will not hide any sounds they make or the way they smell. If the Rune is drawn incorrectly, it will release a loud 'bang' from the Rune itself. DURATION: Two posts COOLDOWN: Two posts ABILITY NAME: Protection Seal ABILITY RANK: Novice ABILITY TYPE/PINNED: Rune ABILITY DESCRIPTION: A variant of the Containment Seal. The Protection Seal creates either a three-dimensional construct or a two-dimensional wall, depending on the amount of ofuda used in the creation. The most common use is a shield made by Seika throwing four Ofuda into the air in front of him, and creating a square or rectangle of magic with the four ofuda acting as the corners of the shield. To create a three-dimensional shield, Seika must use three times the magic required, as well as having at least one of the walls of the shape set in place already. The maxim size of the three-dimensional shapes cannot exceed ten feet in any direction, while the wall cannot exceed a measurement of 7x7 feet. Currently only able to create three-dimensional boxes. Anything can exit the shield, but things cannot enter without having to break the shield. The shields can withstand one novice spell before breaking, and if the Runes on the ofuda are damaged or altered, the spell will not work but will still consume Seika's magic as if it had. Seika cannot move while the shield is active, regardless if it is a wall or box.
