something interesting about this boring world, that's what I am looking for. Amy was annoyed. She hadn't found anything related to aliens even after a day of stressful research. She'd scoured every book she had, every webpage she could find in the lacrima-based computer, and still came up with nothing. Absolutely nothing. She slammed the table, and considered digging more into book when her eyes met the calendar, and she noticed the red mark on today's date.  "Crap," she whimpered, and put her head in her arms. Today was the day she was supposed to return the books she had borrowed from Akane's little library. She let a whole minute pass before she moved again. The girl sluggishly gathered fifteen books, stuffed them into a big paper bag and walked outside to breathe fresh air. As she walked in the streets of Akane, annoyance was loud on Amy's face, what with her mashed up eyebrows, pouting lips and her long wild blue hair. She hadn't changed her school uniform yet, and her blouse was pried open, falling of her arm. Her red ribbon was loosely tied. Only did she realized the stares of the people around were on her, and that was the time she fixed her clothes on a more decent manner, as decent as Amelia Valentine can muster. The library was in her face, and it's shadow loomed over to her. Rubbing her eyes, Amy brushed her hair with her hand and opened the door with a loud creak. If a library was supposed to be quiet, it was different in Akane's libraries. The front desk was bustling with people, and you would only encounter the quiet inside--where people usually take their time in silent reading. It was one of Amy's favorite places, but no place just can't beat her own messy room, which looked like a junior professor's workplace. She spent all her time there researching about aliens, extraterrestrial beings, something interesting apart the boring world. [Ayame Chika]

Ayame had not expected her job would be as hard as it was. She was lucky enough that she could find a way to complete it. She was going to allow some time after i to go and read a book from the local library. She was not going to allow the time in tow be all about work. She did not do a great job attempting to finish early. She was not going to be able to get herself a drink. She figured if she could not get a drink she may go find a good read.

She was not exactly sure where the library was located in town and asked around for directions as she looked around. She was walking around the town looking for the location where the library was. She wished she could of found it easier than she was finding it now.She hated the fact that she was having an issue finding a simple building. She was walking around when she saw a girl sitting on a bench, " Is this the Library? " She was not sure was not what the building looked like from the outside ,so she had to ask around. She was not sure if the girl was going ot help her find her destination while she was there.

something interesting about this boring world, that's what I am looking for. Sitting in the lobby, Amy wanted to doze off. She might as well sleep, but she kept snapping her eyes open to look a the line before her, only to see it wasn't making progress. She shook her head, and blew a strand of her blue hair away. She sat back on the bench lazily. Ah, the noise isn't helping to ease her irritation. Can't she cheat the line? She could easily go to the front and muscle her way in the line to get this over quick. Realizing it was a horrible thing to do, Amy pouted and plucked a book from her borrowed stash. A random book, and she got the Wonders of the Universe. She had finished the book, but still decided to read it once more. She skimmed through the blocks of text, not finding anything interesting... "Huh?" she asked, out of her train of thought. She heard a voice, and she looked up to see a woman standing before her. It took her a while before the words sink in. "Oh, hello. Yes, this is the library." Amy politely closed her book and scooted a little farther in the bench to make room for another one--in case the woman wanted to sit, too. "Akane's library. Is there anything I can help you with?" she supplied. Figuring out that the woman was new to Akane, Amy suppressed a smile and pointed inside the lobby. "If you want to read something, just go that way." With that string of words, Amy averted her blue eyes to the book in her lap, and noticed that her ribbon wasn't properly tied. Amy felt self-conscious, and she fidgeted with her red ribbon. Or actually, she was trying to fix it. Oh, why did she go to the library without taking a look at the mirror first? [Ayame Chika]

Ayame was not sure if the girl was going to tell her where the library was located. Ayame had wanted to go and read up on people in history who had her type of magic. She had not had any formal training so got ideas of what her magic could do. She learned through testing what her limitations where and what she could take her magic and make it do. She was not one to allow her magical abilities to weaken through inactivity but she need to read up on what her magic was able to do against any know threat. She knew that the library would have something on the subject in Its grasp. She was not sure she had came the right way until the girl said so. She was relived that she had came to the right place in town and was going to be able to find the book she was looking for.

She was about to head the way pointed out if she was looking for a book when she noticed the girl had a pile of books next to her. Ayame looked over the tittles of the books and noticed that all the books followed on theme over all aliens. She had to ask , " You don't really believe this stuff do you?" Ayame found the potability of aliens being real to be highly unlikely. She could not rule them out simply because that there was magic in the world.

something interesting about this boring world, that's what I am looking for. She watched as the new woman started her way towards the inner lobby, when she had to speak up about her books. Blood rose on Amy's cheeks, coloring them bright red. Her eyebrows mashed together, and she shut the book with a pop. She should have seen this. Of course. Amy get this a lot. She should probably be used to it, but she figured out she wasn't doing it good. In this instance, Amy should just kept her mouth shut like her book, and just say something to get the woman going. She should. But she couldn't. "Well," she started, fuming. "They should be real." Amy emphasized the 'should.' "Come on, do you think we're the only living things in the world? There should be other living things outside Earthland. Magic made it possible. Aliens are real, and I believe in them!" Amy glared at the woman with a new surge of annoyance. "I'm going to prove it, just so you wait!" Just so the other people who dumped this question to her wait. Someday, she would prove the existence of aliens, and it would be her turn to dump that fact to their faces. And that included this new woman. "They're real," she snapped. Amy reviewed her mind through the facts she had gathered--the clues on the existence of aliens. "The mysterious sighting of a UFO in Bosco. The weird crater in the Ruins in the West, right here in Fiore. The unidentified artifacts in Seven. And the dig site in Sindria! Do you believe now in aliens? There's just so many facts and mysterious events to prove they're real!" Sounding like a whiny little brat, Amy pouted stubbornly and glared at the woman some more. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, Amy closed her mouth and looked away. The noise she had just produced probably was rude, but hey, the counter was noisy. But what was the woman's reaction to her sudden outburst? Whatever it was, Amy would be ready to defend her point of view.✿ standard is tagged 340 words  notes

Ayame had not expected for the girl to get such an attitude when she asked if the girl had believed in aliens. She had not thought the girls feelings on the subject would be a touchy matter and how she was actually able to back up her belief with some actual facts. Ayame would have destroyed the girls precious books and left the library if it had not been for the fact she needed to read a book. She did turn to face the girl who had just finished her rant.

Ayame took a second to formulate what she was going to say to the girl who was sitting on the bench with a load of books. She began to speak in a clam tone, " Their may or may not be aliens but I do know one thing and that is I do not like to to be told off by people like you." Ayame face had the look of someone who was not joking as finished talking. She now was in no rush to get her book as the girl on the bench now had her full attention. Ayame was slightly annoyed at how the girl had mentioned her aliens and tried to make Ayame look like an idiot. She only hoped the girl would not upset her anymore with her next words.

something interesting about this boring world, that's what I am looking for. Amy relaxed back at her seat. With the facts she had given, she was sure the woman would believe her aliens exist--it's just that they don't want to be found yet. And Amy will do anything just to make them show themselves. If not, it will be Amy's job to trace them to their roots and drag them to earth. Her plan was that simple. But everybody was making it hard. Nobody wanted to believe Amy. Yes, the woman wasn't the only one. In fact, the woman was the first person whom Amy yelled to and forced her opinion unto. She was ready to start feeling guilty. Now that she was out of her tantrum, she realized what she did was wrong. She took the few seconds of silence before the woman's answer and was ready to say her apology when--oh, beings! Anger fumed into Amy again, but she suppressed it. She mildly glared at the woman. "And why can you say so?" she said hardly. She matched the woman's face with seriousness. "Is it that you just don't want to believe, even if there were so much evidence to be found? You just have to open your eyes!" Amy averted her gaze and started fiddling with the book she was holding. "I am a researcher about extraterrestrial beings, and of course I have the right to tell you off, because I know you're wrong. Well, Amy was that headstrong about her stand. Amelia Valentine wouldn't give up! Never would she! Over her dead body! Even if she finds a lot of enemies because of it... well, that was a minor offense. Just so they wait! Ayame was all of one second away from attempting to destroy the girl and the library in one fell swoop , but she was stopped due to the admiration she had for the girl slightly. She look at the girl with an intent stare and said some thing interesting, " You know that I can not let a girl like you talk to me like that, but because I find you interesting i will allow you to continue breathing and as for your aliens. I never said it was impossible for them to exist I just asked did you really believe in them you annoying little brat." She was not impressed by the girl at all.

She then looked at the line that was now thinning out. She looked back at the girl before saying something, " What brings you to the library today may I ask young lady" She then picked up one of the girls books and started to flip through the pages. She was attempting to figure out why the girl had her belief in aliens. The way she saw it they did not exist but there was a possibility for her to be wrong. She looked through the book confused as to who would write something like it.

something interesting about this boring world, that's what I am looking for. I need to clam down. I really need to calm down, Amy chanted furiously in her mind. Deciding she would keep her tone mild even if the woman would say something that will irk Amy once again, she took a deep breath and blinked several times. She refused to look at the woman stubbornly and just sneered. She thought she could take Amelia Valentine? Fine, maybe she can, but don't she expect she would get off with it easily. Her mind shifted into gears as Amy struggled to keep her mouth shut. She believed in them. And as a believer, she was supposed to encourage other people to her belief. Of course, the woman wouldn't understand that. Nearly everyone wouldn't understand her. Well, nobody did. But that wasn't enough to wave Amy from her stand. She would believe. May it be Amy against the world, go ahead. Lamia Scale's Amelia Valentine wouldn't budge. In response to the woman's next question, Amy stood up and brushed her hair with her hands. Ugh, she should have brought a comb. Why wasn't she conscious about her appearance? Oh, well, it can't be helped when you're so drowned to research. She pointed on to the thinning line in the counter. "I'm about to return some books," she said in a mildly calm voice. Then Amy bent down and heaved to lift the heavy bag she brought before. "If you'll excuse me," Amy murmured to the woman before walking slightly leaning on the side where she carried the bag. When she arrived, there were only three people left in the line--and she was the fourth. Amy dropped the bag with a heavy thud, and decided she would just drag it as her turn came.
