"Shoes, check. Belt, check. Choker, check. Ribbons..... check." Alexandra was in a frenzied hurry as he ran through a list in his mind, tying the final ribbon in his hair into place at the end of his braid, and he stood before the mirror and turned around a few times, making sure everything was in place and looked correct. The cause of his enthusiasm? An opened letter sitting on his bed, its contents only detailing a date, time and requesting a meeting if his duties as a Knight allowed him the chance. Glancing at his clock, the Knight left his room and hurried through the halls of the Church, only slowing down slightly to tell Father Comstock where he was going.
The short trip through the city was uneventful, Alexandra only stopping to buy a single rose and a breakfast pastry, and before long, the Knight had arrived at the train station. Though only in Crocus for a week, he had missed his friends in Onibas quite a bit, and had another month to go before he was allowed to stay with the friendly Barnaby for a week. The Knight blushed slightly as the thought of asking Silvia to live in the church as well crossed his mind, however he brushed it away almost instantly; he feared what would happen if anyone ever found out about her being a vampire, and the other members of the church would surely see her as 'Evil.' To have to fight against his own family was something Alexandra never wished to happen, and would devastate him if it came to pass.
'No, stop it Alexandra, think happy thoughts. You've the entire day free and get to spend it with your friend. That's more than enough reason to celebrate.' Alexandra reassured himself as he tried to think more positively, looking around the station for Silvia and hoping to surprise her. It was a task easier done than said, surprisingly enough, as a familiar face appeared in the crowd momentarily, heading for a bench at the center of the platform they were on. The Knight grinned some as he headed towards her, doing his best to keep the flower in his hand both hidden and undamaged, and his smile grew wider as he separated himself from the crowd and reached the bench.
"Silvia~ It's so good to see you again." The Knight's voice easily revealed his joy at seeing his friend again, a swift hug following shortly, and he hurriedly put his right hand back behind his back, not wanting to reveal the flower just yet. "How have you been? Was your trip enjoyable?"
