If you are reading this, then congratulations! You can read! With a new age and a new revolution, comes a set of strict, but rewarding steps that qualifies a person to sign up for our training program. This is a new age, and Knights get paid lavishly for their hard work, no matter which branch you are from. Here are six crucial steps to consider before signing up. 1. Must be mentally and physically fit. Sorry, but this is our primary concern when it comes to the well being of all citizens. We can't have an official dying of asthma when they're trying to pursue a criminal, or stop at a doughnut shop every half hour. Regarding mental health? That's self explanatory.
2. Must undergo training program, regardless of expertise in magic / combat. It doesn't matter if you're world champion boxer, it doesn't matter if you proclaim to be the best magician in the world, or is capable of blowing up buildings. When it comes to the Knights, every new official has to endure a harsh 3 month training program that prioritizes disciplinary teachings. You can ask for longer periods if you feel dissatisfied about your performance, but nothing short of that.
3. Must be resilient. Resiliency isn't a quality that is inherited by a lot of people, but for those whom are patient, it can be built up over time. As mentioned above, one has to endure a 3 month long training program with the roughest, toughest instructors you can ever imagine. If you're not as fit as we want you to be when you signed up, you will be by the end of this.
4. Have a heart and a mind that is in the right place. Simple enough, if you're not passionate and won't even bother risking a dime when it comes to helping others, this isn't the job for you.
5. Endure long hours of travel and work This isn't a job for the weak minded, and for good reason. A lot of times, we will require you to travel around, staying in different towns, different countries, and even different continents. You will be able to provide more than enough for your family, but your time with them will be limited.
6. Risk. This is a risky job, and even though we try our best to guide you through the norms, you can never predict what's going to happen in our field of work. Some people lose their arms, some lose their legs, and those are considered to be the lucky ones.
