'Shitty day' was the understatement of the century, but it was all that Bunji could think of in his mind as he walked on the sandy plains of this heat stricken land, slouched over he had his hood on to prevent the back of his neck from getting sun burned, but sleeves up, and jacket wide open with no shirt under. The heat was just too much to bare, he hated doing any sort of effort so this right here walking in this no mans land was already way too much effort for the young mage. He could feel the sweat rolling down his face, the moist bangs of his red hair sticking to his forehead, with a long sigh he would continue to march forward in the direction he was originally walking at least he hoped he was still going the right way. He really did curse himself at this very moment for ever taking part in this ridiculous quest, why in the world did he decide to take this dungeon on? Oh yeah, because he was bored, and with nothing to do so a fellow Raven Tail suggest he put himself in some exciting situations. Hence Bunji now finds himself here, in the middle of nowhere, with the suns rays lashing down at him, and his feet dragging across the sandy floor as he marches towards a dungeon which will probably demand more effort from him.
'I have half a mind to turn back...' he thought to himself silently as his tongue licked his dried lips. Yet, he realized that walking back would surely make him far worse, yes he was lazy but once he committed to something he became quite stubborn in wanting to see it through to the very end, this was one of those times where sheer will was pulling Bunji along. The only driving force behind every footstep was pride, and nothing more as he walked on in the far distance he could see it what looked like ruins. "FINALLY!" he exclaimed as he picked up his pace, but in doing so felt his thighs ache, and tighten ignoring the pain he kept moving at the accelerated pace. The ruins meant more work yes, but they also meant some form of shade, and maybe a few minutes of much needed rest when he finally reached the ruins the first thing he did was stumble to his knees "GAH!" was all he said as he rolled over on his back, laying under one of the few remaining structures, well half structure the thing didn't really look very stable. Taking in deep breaths, he could feel his entire legs aching, and his feet pulsing, the sweat began to roll off him all over the man's body was pretty much soaked in sweat.
After a few minutes he stood up, slipping off the black jacket he normally wore revealing an exposed upper body with spread arms he welcomed the warm breeze which felt cool against his sweaty upper body as it crashed against him. Letting out a sigh, Bunji decided to stay this way for a bit longer help his body cool off, he tied his jacket around his waist by the sleeves making sure the knot was secured before beginning his search for the dungeons entrance. Walking along the ruins he still felt aches, and pains but ignored them in order to push on, he made it this far so giving up now was out of the question. Transitioning from shade, to sun, and shade to sun as he walked on through the ruins searching high, and low for the entrance of the dungeon. As he searched on he could not help but think back to the stories told to him by the villagers from a small village just some miles south of this area, every story ended with an unfortunate end for the would be adventurer who aimed to conquer this place. Truly he considered himself lucky, seeing as the villagers told him of a few adventurers who died on the journey to the ruins, with this intense heat he was really not very surprised that they had met such ends.
After what seemed like hours of searching, Bunji was starting to wonder whether he messed up somewhere, and got the wrong information. He had been unable to locate anything that looked remotely similar to the description of this so called dungeon, standing atop a few ruins he got a decent view of the general area around him. With a hand stuck to his forehead shielding his eyes from the sun he stood there scouting for any signs of some sort of dungeon, or clues to an entrance with a sigh he felt ready to just give up. Yes, he had gotten this far but if he could not find it then why would he stay here any longer? Then he spotted something, squinting his eyes he leaned his head forward to see what it was exactly...'Is that? A gorge?' he thought to himself as he quickly jumped down from the area he was standing on, landing with a solid thud the young man bent a knee on impact. Heading towards the gorge he felt a sense of excitement build up inside of him as he got closer, this was a good thing right? An area he had originally not explored was now here, visible to him perhaps it was there it would make sense for this entrance to be hidden so that not anyone can just find it.
Upon arriving Bunji could see something he had not seen before, a well camouflaged building his red eyes focused on the building as he rushed over towards it. Stopping in front of it he blinked a few times, making sure he wasn't being afflicted by the heat so badly that he was hallucinating, stepping forward he could see the obsidian looking building it was quite big. He let out a sigh realizing the amount of work this would take to explore, and that's even if he survived its trials, looking down he noticed a particular circle with some text engraved upon its rim. Looking around out of caution, he would bend down and place a hand on the circle when he did however his eyes widened as he was suddenly sucked into the circle. Before he could even register what had happened, Bunji found himself floating in an eternal abyss, he turned his head wildly side to side trying to figure out what was happening to him. He felt the panic build up, he felt no ground below his feet, he was just suspended in an empty space that was clouded by darkness.
Then just as soon as he had been sucked in he was spit out into a new area, Bunji crashed onto the sandy ground with a loud impact. He coughed a few times as he rose up to his feet slowly shaking his head, the shirtless young man was rubbing his eyes as he stayed there one one knee for a moment, removing his hands from his eyes he noticed something. "Hm?" was all he said as he noticed the faint glow of blue just a few feet from him, Bunji blinked as he stood up to his feet walking towards the light cautiously perhaps not the best idea but maybe it was a torch? As he got closer he noticed a silhouette, there was someone there? Bunji kept moving towards the figure until finally she came into view, a woman in a dark blue uniform, with blue skin, and well it seemed it was not a torch but it was her own magic that had produced the light. Bunji wiped off the sand that clung to his still moist upper body, as he did this he stared at the woman "Hey you...Did you get sucked into this place to?" he asked her wiping his hands against one another to get the dirt off.
