The sun slowly broke over the horizon, spilling brilliant rays of light across the water and casting a warm glow over the small Onibus town. The early morning trickle of local joggers, dog-walkers, tourists and sunrise sightseers were standard fare for the youth, and the salt spray welcomed all to a cool respite from the blazing summer heat. Until an explosion happened. It was caused by the sudden disrupt of another. A little dysfunction of magic control''Who do you think you are you stupid shit!?'' The prominent male stood as he crushed the face of another with his right foot. He had a malevolent grin upon his face and continued to step until his anger was appeased. Until he felt happy. It wasn't nice to bully then prince when you didn't know your place. A group of man trying to gang up and intimated another one just because he did not look all that tough. Though it wouldn't be the case once the prince got up of his seat. Shits were sent flying everywhere as the bar soon crashed down to the floor.

''Ahh that felt good.'' He cleaned his hands before walking out of the area in a satisfied mood. No one knew who did it nor what happened since all happened in the instance of a flash. Blinding electrical discharges flew in every direction. No one had the chance to look hence why Alduin got away so easily. It was a good warm up for his mission that was about to come though Alduin wasn't sure if he was ready yet. After all , his partner hasn't arrived yet. Then again... ''Fuck this...'' He told to himself before directing toward the missions location. His partner was three minute late. No need for any pardons.

It was early in the morning in Onibus town and Seiko was enjoying a nice cup of tea in a shop nearby. It was rather calming, she had arrived the night before on some business she had to attend to. The business was rather short and handled right away. She originally had taken a few days off thinking the task was tedious but that wasn't the case. Well with the hard stuff out of the way she could enjoy this day before going home. The guild still needed her so she had to return home right away. However not without a nice day off once in a while. She took a quiet sip from the cup when she heard an explosion nearby. Curious she downed her cup of tea and ran off to see what in the world that could've been.

She ran north of her original position and saw sparks flying around and a loud crash. It seems something crazy was happening in the bar. She walked a bit closer to see what could've happened but by the time she got to the bar a crowd had already formed. She wouldn't be able to check it out now. She heard whispers that there was a flash of light and the bar came apart. A flash of light hm? Must be some type of magic. 

Seiko shrugged her shoulders and walked from the scene. She'd rather not immerse herself in something as unimportant as a bar brawl. She continued her walk back away from the scene. She wanted a break not another nuisance. She decided to go find a place to eat. She was getting a bit hungry and she hadn't had the chance to eat since she woke up. Tea could only do so much to fill you up. She decided to look around to find either a nice restaurant or a ramen shop whichever came first. 

She became lost in her thought for food that she was not paying attention to where she was walking. She the snapped from her thoughts when she bumped into a figure. She wasn't sure who it is but he was pretty tall. Six feet to her Five eight. She lifted her head up slightly to get a good look at him. He was fair haired with crimson eyes. That seemed out of place here for the most part but she just pushed that thought aside. She grinned and out on her apologetic face.

"Oops sorry there! Didn't see you there."

She backed up and shrugged her shoulders a bit.

Focused on his task , Alduin was trying to figure out ways to do his mission before someone bumped into him. ''What the hell!?'' He took a step back before talking with his provocate tone. Normally he would have beat the crap out of whoever that dared to mess with him but this time... It was different. He was about to raise his fist and perform a damn psychopathic therapy until he realized that the person that bumped into him was a girl. A woman to be more precise and a beautiful one at that. Red eyes quickly shifted onto her face as they stared within the ones of hers. A soul penetrating stare they called it though Alduin's one gave out a more the menacing feeling instead of the cold and dead one that would normally lead people to shiver in fears.

He extended his left hand out before holding the female's chin as he raised it up and analysed it up closely. ''Eh?...'' He grinned playfully as he stared closely and pulled his hand away afterward before tugging them back to their habitual pockets. Dissapointed , Alduin did not find her so pretty anymore after a close up analyse. ''Old hag...'' he murmured in a low ton to himself.''It's ok , just watch your steps next time ok?'' The prominent male immediately came up with an act as he smiled and patted the female on the head. A sunshine smile that was as it enlightened the mood of people most of the time. Alduin was perfect at acting and making poker faces. Sure what he showed to people most of the time remained to be a pretty image of a sunshine boy but underneath was definitely something else.

She still smiled pretending she didn't his comment about her. She did, her sense were pretty well tuned and that murmured comment was not unheard. On the inside she was cursing at the little shit. Who was he to say something like that without knowing her. She ought to smack this jerk to the next town. She decided against it, she would exact revenge later for the comment. Instead she nodded as if she was at fault. 

"Yeah sorry I was looking around for a place to eat and I didn't watch where I was going."

She smiled and placed her hands on her hips. She'd seen his type before. They're all smiles and vey polite to make themselves appear nicer they appear to be, but in actuality they're jerks. She grimaced inwardly but her outward appearance was not the case. Before she left this jerk alone she thought she just introduce herself and maybe find out why he was here to begin with. She sighed and looked to the other.

"Well my name is Seiko Tachibana, you can me Sei though. Most people that know me do." She decided to omit some information about her title as Guild Master. Didn't want to scare him off too soon. It would have been just as hilarious but she decide against it. Should he continue to be rude  then she would proceed to sending him far away from here.

"So...who are you? What brings you to Onibus town?"

''I'm a mage and I'm actually here for a mission.'' He replied in a straight forward manner yet his tone still held a bit of his playful attitude. Alduin actually did not like to tease people though it was one of the various things he does without noticing. Especially when he opens his mouth though he cannot help it. It was a part of his personality that he could not hide no matter the amount of effort he put into the act.

Red eyes moved shifted toward the figure of the female again as the prominent male looked down. His eyes sent off waves of electricity that would often lead most innocent girls to feel a sort of chemical reaction feeling though it does not seem to be the case with this one. A special one perhaps? ''Anyway I still have plenty of time seeing how my partner hasn't even arrived yet. I was planning to begin the mission alone though on second thought... Seeing how fate has brought the two of us together , how about I treat you to a meal? I heard that the food that they serve here are excellentee'' He said while adding and accent to the excelentee with his playful tone as always except that this time he reached out for her left hand and kissed it like a humble knight. A formal sign of gratitude when a knight presented himself toward any sorts of female guests. ''How impolite of me! I always forgot to present myself hehe... My name's Alduin but you can call me Ald.'' He let go of her hand as he pulled up the innocent and heart warming smile again. ''So care to go eat something with me?''

She nodded, fairly curious. She then thought back to what she had observed. She looked back to him with a questioningly.

"So you're a mage huh? Hmmm, you wouldn't happen to be an elemental mage of sort would you?"

Seeing how he was acting behind face, he could've been the one who wrecked the bar earlier as well. Which was angering because now she didn't have a place to drink in this town for a while. She quickly dropped that thought before she did something she would later regret. She focused on what he said next instead. So he was on a mission? That was interesting, what guild was he from? If he was why is he on a mission? 

"A mission too eh? So what's your mission, maybe you could use help being that this supposed partner has failed to show up."

It could be fun and She hadn't had a mission in a long time. It would be refreshing to tag along and fight and other things. She wondered if he would even accept her help. He seemed like the type to do things on his own, especially with how irritated he sounded mentioning that his partner had not yet shown up. Suddenly the mention of free food has erased any thought about anything else. Her eyes lit up a bit,

"Yes, there is a nice little restaurant around here that sells the best cuisine in the whole town."

she almost ignored the fact he was sounding a bit cheesy with his lines. Geez, how many times has he told a girl that? She almost couldn't hold back a roll of the eyes as he grasped her hand and attempted to the gentlemanly. The moment he decided to call her an old hag he lost any chances he had to 'impress' her or whatever the whole point of this was. So his name was Alduin huh? She wasn't one to poke at names so she didn't, it was a strange name however. She continued to play this charade with him until she deemed it right otherwise.

"Well, nice to make your acquaintance Alduin. I would like to grab a bite to eat."

She chuckled a bit, but on the inside she was to tear this kid a new one.

''A romantic dinner for the heart warming atmosphere!'' Alduin exclaimed and stared at Seiko in an awkward way before opening a bottle of red wine. He poured into the two glasses before a servant arrived and brought two plates of frommage souffle. ''Hope you like this frommage souffle'' He added a weird accent to the souffle and giggled sarcastically. The ambiance was nice although it was awkward. There weren't too many people but just enough to enlighten up the mood although most of them were couples. This restaurent wasn't named Sacre Bleu for nothing. Alduin did not want such an awkwardness though this place served the best food.

It took them a while to arrive here anyway so they might as well enjoy the little bit of time they had left. Yes , the restaurant was next to the sea. It was on the beach to be more precise. Giant umbrellas and set of tables that were placed in an odd way. Alduin took the time to savor the bitter taste of his wine while letting the soft touch of the wind embrace his face. ''The food here is exquisite! Don't you think so my dear?'' He looked around and laughed as he tried to pretend that they were a couple.

She supposed the place was very nice and it did have the best food served here of it's kind. However she was looking forward to some ramen or even Yaki Souba. Seiko wasn't a high maintenance  woman at all. She was one of simple desires, eat, sleep, joke around, and work. Doing just these things made her happy. She couldn't understand why everyone else found it hard to believe. It annoyed her to no end. People always in her business and they don't even know what's going on. They assume all the time and get upset when they are shamed publicly. Why should that be any of her fault? That's there fault, oh well too bad. She looked at her food for a good minuet before trying a piece of it. Eh it wasn't that bad, nothing she'd have everyday but still she had to hand it to the people it was great work.

"Yeah the food is pretty good."

She grabbed her glass of wine and took a rather generous sip. She then recalled he never answered her questions. How rude of him. Just keeps adding to the list of why she should knock him into the next town. Still, she could wait. Right now she was curious about the mission he was going on. And she was rather curious about his mage abilities. She had a hunch that he was at fault for the destruction of her precious bar. So again she would try to pry this information from him.

"So you never told me, what kind of mage are you? And what's this mission about? I'm rather curious."

''Oh sorry! Guess I got a little bit too overjoyed that I forgot to answer your questions from earlier.'' He apologize before putting back on the malicious grin he had a few moments ago. He was liking where this conversation was going toward until she decided to get back into business. The serious type eh? Alduin didn't really have problems dealing with these kinds of people although it looked like if they were continuously playing mind games against each other. Testing each others maximum capacity and all.

''I'm a lightning mage.'' He said with pride as if he were trying to show off. ''The mission's about an evil gang that have been roaming around this place for quite sometime. ''You see... The fact that the magic council haven't done anything about this amuses me. They recently blackmailed this innocent woman and we need to defend her in court while finding out their secret base and neutralizing them.'' Alduin went on with his long speech as he took a short rest after finishing it. ''In short, we must defend someone in court and bring the evil gang to justice.'' He coughed before taking a little sip of his red wine before expressing with satisfaction.

Seiko nodded and took another sip from her glass. Her theory just might be correct after all. While there are plenty of mages wandering about the town at the moment how many of them can claim they are a lightning mage? Not many can, especially being something very specific. The flash of the light had to have been from lighting. She set the cup down and ate from her plate again. It was nice to be able to eat for free. 


"So you wouldn't happened to have caused that explosion in the bar in town?"

Hmm his mission sounded a bit more difficult for someone like him to be completing him on his own. She should try to intervene, he could get seriously injured. She wasn't surprised the Magic Counsel wasn't going to do anything about it. They were always breathing down her neck about property damage caused but her Guild Members! But they could stop to eradicate some low ranked group? That was truly sad, so sad she would cry if she didn't care about the counsel. She sighed and stared at the fair haired man.

"This sounds like a difficult. Are you sure you have the rankings for this big boy mission? I can help you if you want. You might need it actually."

She didn't want to sound mean, but this kid was a little baby and could get hurt if he wasn't too careful. Being a Guild Master has turned her into some type of mother. She internally kicked herself for it, in the end she it this was for the best.

''And what if I did?'' He stared in her eyes before grinning. Yes he did it but he did not want to admit it though one could assume it by analyzing his gestures and tone from earlier. No way he was going to get concerned over such a trivial manner. Alduin had better things to do then worrying about the destruction of a little bar like that. Buildings like that were destroyed regularly in his past missions anyway hence why he saw no problem at all.

He took his time to enjoy his meal and drank another cup of his red one before a spark of electricity suddenly appeared around the youth's face as the female mentioned about his power. He hated when people underestimated his skills but what he hated even more was people who thought that he was good at nothing. Never again will he be looked down upon.

''Are you understimating me?'' He deposed his cup before sending a cold a menacing glare toward Seiko. It held the feeling of absolute authority and power. The stare of a royalty though not just any royalty. The stare of a prince. He smashed his two hands upon the table before getting up as he grinned with confidence once again before pointing himself with his left index. ''Cha! It's gonna be a child play I can promise you that! I don't need your help but to prove that you were wrong you could follow along and see how I solve this case. I'm going to prove you wrong eh. I've always been working alone and have always succeeded alone.''

So he was the punk that destroyed a very good bar. Yeah she was going to hit him really hard if she didn't shut up for two seconds. She listened to him ramble, apparently he can do it. So much talk from someone his age. Kids always seem to talk the most shit. This mission was cakewalk to him, he didn't need her help of any kind. It made her smile a bit, this kid was way in over his head. And just so that she could prove her point, she was going to tag along as he mentioned. She wondered if she should do anything if he was in trouble. She really shouldn't because obviously he was a big boy and he could do thing all on his own. Then again her title as Guild Master also wanted to ensure he was safe. She suppose she could make it seem as if she wasn't going to help him but do it anyways.

She looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Alright I guess I'll tag along to see if you can actually pull this off. Oh and if you decide to change your mind, the safety word is help."

This was going to be an interesting mission for her. For a first she didn't have to do a thing. She went back to eating and drinking her wine. It was still a restaurant and they were still eating. She might as well enjoy the food while she still could.

''Sshhhh... Oh pretty please.'' He put his index in front of his lips before enjoying the playful momentum they shared. ''I'll call help when this mission is over.'' He laughed in a sarcastic way before taking the last little sip of his wine. ''Oh it's about time already...''He grinned before checking at the clock as he dropped a little gold coin upon the table before the two of them parted away.It did not take long before the two of them arrived in front of a gigantic white monument. It was built based on greek monuments with gigantic columns holding the base of the infrastructure on each side. It looked quite imposing with the big stairs in the front though Alduin had seen better in his palace. The only thing that attracted his attention for more then a second was the title on the front door which said ''Palace of Justice''.

As the two of them stepped in, the numerous crowd that sat on each side of the room began to cheer like if this was a gladiator stadium or something. Alduin's eyes darted from the left to the right before stopping on a female. He recognized her because she was the one that posted the mission. ''Took you guys long enough!'' She whined before Alduin apologized for his late arrival while presenting the female that was accompanying him. They were going to defend her in court although Alduin have never done such things before. They liked to call the position ''defense attorneys'' although Alduin did not really like the position he was in. He thought that this was going to be easy at first but the pressure began rising the more he stood on spot and waited. It was his first time in court after all. An old man dressed in black arrived in court sometime afterward as he stepped onto the podium with a large desk in the front. Hammer in hand he quickly slammed it down on the hard surface of the desk to attract the attention of everyone before shouting with his authoritative tone to impose his reign. ''Order ! Order in the courtroom!''
