This was it, today was the day she was ready to leave the celestial world. What? Not forever! Only for a little bit; today was the day she would go into  earthland, home of the humans. She heard plenty from the spirits who already had masters that humans were fun but fickle creatures. She sighed sadly, she wished she had a master. Apparently humans aren't interested in a spirit who can't fight. Combat spirits are all the rage, and unfortunately Aegis would not be one of them. She placed her armor on and readied herself to leave her plane. By opening her gate herself she managed to get into the human world a lot easier than expected.

She looked around the place for the first time, she was rather disappointed. It wasn't anything like the celestial spirit world. Everything was well...grounded. There weren't even any auroras. She wondered if this was a prank being pulled on her by the other spirits she knows. They would do something like this to her, just so that they can laugh at her later on when she got home. She almost cried at the thought. She didn't understand  why they were so mean to here, she never did anything wrong to them...

She may as well venture on now that she was here. It wasn't as beautiful as her world but this place here was nice. It looked very rich and cultured. She was glad she opened her gate here. She walked along a path in the town, many of the people were staring at her. What? They act as if they've never seen a celestial spirit before. it could be her wings too, not many of the humans here had them.... that could be it. She had a thought, she wondered what the food here tasted like, it probably wasn't anything compared to the restaurant back home but she wanted to try it anyways. She decided to look around town for a place to eat. Looked around with a look of confusion, being that this was her first time here...er well she was lost. She didn't know where anything is. She was also nervous about asking any of the humans.....they seemed to be scared of her. Not as much as she if afraid of them. She continued on hoping that there was a way to tell what was what around here. Boy, this might take a while.

[GORA]

Weirdly enough, the Celestial World was somewhere that little Gora hardly ever found himself. Yes he went back there now and then to recharge himself, but most of the time he was here on the mortal plain. The only place he would ever go back in the Celestial World is the garden patch, a little area that he decided to call his home. Nothing ever really grew there, just a few plant type spirits would hang around there. This was where you would find the Spirit of the Mandragora, Gora.

At this moment in time, however, he was standing in the middle of a lake. His little legs submerged so far that only the sprout on the top of his head was really visible. Ok a little bit of the white bulb was popping out of the water too, but except for that he was pretty much completely submerged. Noone was really noticing him in there or what was going on, mainly because there wasn't anything going on. There were no air bubbles popping up to the surface, his body wasn't moving, but he was down there. To be fair if anyone looked closely they would definitely see a little plant man in the water, but so far noone had noticed.

What was he doing there? Being a plant really. He is a plant. Some of them can go underwater and he wanted to find out if he was able to do so. Being the fact he had been there for about 15 minutes, he could potentially say that it was a yes? Or he had died. He wasn't overly sure quite yet.

Oh look a duck.

[AEGIS]

Aegis walked around the town for a bit. She was in awe of where she was. Earthland seemed more simpler than the celestial world. It had a serene simplicity that Aegis kind of liked. It reminded her of home, not the world where she lived. It wasn't a Valhalla, but her home there was the simplest of all of them. She was a novice shield maiden in training, when she finished her training she would hope to be like a valkyrie and learn combat magic so she could have a master like her 'friends'. Enveloped in her thoughts she began to wander more, not really thinking where she was, just walking. She even ignored all the stares at her. She eventually came upon what was unknown to humans as a park. It was a lushy green area filled with many plant life and natural beauty. She came to a stop at a lake that sat in the middle of the entire park.

With all her walking her feet was starting to hurt her, she decided she would rest here at the lake. She sat closer to the lake and she pulled her grieves off. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to wear her armor today. She could have flown with with the humans staring at her already for having them, she thought she would put them in a panic for flying around as well. She pulled up her dress to knee height as she slipped her feet into the water. The cool was felt nice against her overheated and sore feet. She hummed a little tune to herself kicking her feet around a bit.

[GORA]

Feet

That was the next thing that seemed to appear in little Goras mind, as well is front of his eyes. Why did someone decide it would be a good idea to place their bare feet in a pond of ice cool water? Serious;y? Who in their right mind would think that? If you were going to do it you may as well do it all the way, much like dear Gora had. So what is what he would do.

The small sprout that was popping out of the water would start to move, at first in stages, then it would start moving full speed towards the feet that had been placed in the water. If she was going to be cool, she may as well be cool all over. So the little Spirit which was under the water, would attempt to grab ahold of her and drag her underneath. It was much cooler underneath in this pond than it was above. Although exactly how this would really go down was anyone's guess. He was only a little spirit so he didn't overly have enough power. But someone being suddenly caught unaware of what was going on, well anything could happen really, couldn't it?

Only time would tell.

[AEGIS]

Aegis was enjoying her little foot soaking, unaware the was something within the water. She didn't even notice the little leaf that was slowly swimming towards her. She looked around everywhere else but the lake. Where was everyone? She sure this was a place where humans interacted right? So where were they at the moment? At least she enjoy herself without being stared at. She still kicked her feet around in the water. She watched it rippled and noticed the refection of the sky. She looked up and smiled. Wow the humans have a pretty nice sky. She could stand to stare at it all day if she wanted. 

Suddenly she felt something grab her foot. It felt like.....it was trying to pull her into the water. It didn't feel very strong, it felt like tiny little hands trying to pull her in. She lifted one of her feet up to reveal the culprit. It was what she expected. She thought it may have been a human fish biting at her feet. However she did feel hands so why would fishes have hands? She stared at the odd little creature. She wasn't sure what to make of it. It wasn't anything human or human made. Not even naturally made on Earthland. Was it a celestial spirit?

"Hello there! Are you...a celestial spirit?"

[Bast the Era]

Bast wasn't always the nicest person. Not to the humans. She knew it, they knew it and no one particularly cared most of the time. Unless they were personally swindled by her, most were quite content with admiring her looks as she walked by. To which Bast would soak up like a sponge. She was a cat after all, and all cats loved attention. Of course she could do with a little more petting and scratching than idle staring and wishful longing. But, alas, she'd no luck with the human populace. Always aiming for everything not on her head. Was it so much to ask for someone to scratch her damn ears?

Bast flipped back her hair, and if anyone were around at the time they'd see how the light came down just right enough to shine off her. Sometimes it was a curse to be so gorgeous.

But what was right now wasn't about her. Oh no. Right now was about the fresh spirit she could feel pull itself from their realm of fantasy. Someone's baby boy or girl took their first steps into the mortal realm and she'd failed to get to see it. Bast's expression twisted into a frown. She may not have been the best of individual to humans, but a celestial spirit? They were her people. From the smallest grass sprite to the tallest golem, they were her family (with a very loose sense of family, mind you). So when one of the younger spirits stepped into the realm of real for the first time, Bast liked to be there.

Stepping through the forest, surrounded by the noises of life and nature, Bast looked for her intended target. She'd find this person, and when she did she'd...

She'd...

Maybe hugs?

So his little task had failed and instead of him pulling her down into the water, she had pulled him out of the water instead. He didn't mind though, he was dry(ish) now and could breath. If he needed to breath. Which he wasn't overly sure to be honest, nor did he care. There was still alot unknown about Gora, such as did he need to eat, did he breath, could he feel pain and a fair few other things that had yet to be discovered. This could mainly be put down to the fact that he never really did anything that needed any of these things, plus noone had ever come that close to him. Except for everyone who had ever found him cute, but they weren't looking to see how he worked, oh no, they were more interested in this small cute little thing that was there infront of them.

But no, now he was here, in the air, being spoken to by a moving piece of meat with wings on her back or something or other he didn't really care. It was a thing, a moving thing that looked like the other moving things of this world. He liked moving things, they were almost as good as not moving things! But they moved instead which made them marginally more interesting to him. He didn't care if she was a Celestial Spirit like he was or a human or even a fish or cake. It was a thing, a thing that was moving and making noises. Interesting indeed.

That was all that needed to be said he thought. If he thought at all. Which he didn't really do very often. If at all. Bless him.
