An eerie silence presented itself following Julianne's query. “Uh?” Topaz uttered inquisitively while looking skyward with a clear expression of puzzlement. He blinked. Something caught his eye, stealing his heaven-bound gaze away and tethered it to the now opened eye of the bombastic dragon adjacent to him. He could not help but experience the fright in full that rinsed through him, pinched his heart with a painless ache. Such impish malice, eye infinitely wide with a deranged malevolence. It was the final piece of Myo's inner world Topaz bore witness to before abruptly being pulled from its surreal depths into the realms of the real.
Topaz's eyes opened. A wondrous field of blue came into view and on top of it, a large collection of bodies wracked with rot, spin peeling away to reveal bone and muscle and a disturbing lack of blood. “W-What the facciola is going on out here?!” Topaz screamed, looking towards a rather winded-looking Ordo.
“You see, the strangest thing happened while you two were in Myo's mind. I was kind of attacked, but my barrier held nicely. I'm not sure how much longer it'll hold, though. Sorry I couldn't help out in there.”
Topaz blinked again, seemingly casting away what Ordo had just said. “...What's going on!? Are those dolphin-flippin' DEAD people!? And are they MOVING!?” While the feline was overcome with panic, Ordo expanded his shield, shattered it with enough force to send the reanimated corpses away. The events unfolded too quickly. As that was happening, the frightening sights around them came into Myo's view. His eyes were open, but seemingly, his mind was not his own – but at the same time, it was.
“Take Over: Dragon Soul.” Spoken quietly and articulately, the conclusion of the quadruplet of words was marked by an explosive release of wind around the feline's body. A curtaining smoke swept his physique over, swirling within the rising tempest around him. When it dispersed, it carried with it an aggressive, cutting edge. The hostility to his rear was cut asunder, ostensibly without the notice of the draconic whelp sitting before them as he spread the wings on his back outwards.
Topaz uncovered his eyes, having drawn a defensive arm up during the whole ordeal. Upon seeing his friend, he echoed his name, attempting to confirm if it was him or not. After all, where he had once been, some variety of dragon was sitting there in his place. It tilted its his with a simper far-too amused.
“Myo?” He asked with a low, drawn-out tone as if, really, only trying to sound out the first thing he's heard since appearing. Caught by surprise, he looked down at the flux of hand and paw that was undoubtedly his own. A moment was taken to gaze back at the environment behind him, the people before him. “What a long nap.” His words were crafted with the utmost degree of casualness as he looked about. “I don't remember a thing before having taken it.” Ordo was too stunned to comment. There was little doubt he'd yet to experience such a thing. “Ah, I remember my name.” He looked right at the present company, especially Julanne. “I'm the Dragon of the Dark Sky, Zyphyrus!” He sniggered with self satisfaction immediately after. “You mortals best remember that!” With swiftness, he took off into the sky and – actually, that's what he wanted to do. Instead, he fell forward onto his belly. Pushing himself back up, he began stretching out his wings. “They-- They're a little stiff...”
An embarrassing pause ensued. “...This is awkward.”
“Myo!” Topaz finally cried out, attempting to run over and embrace the creature in a hug. He leapt back without hesitation and when seeing he'd successfully evaded him, grinned maliciously. The dragon turned, dashing out of the alley, over the downed bodies and disappeared around a corner.
