The Rune Knight's rankings are important, and they're there for a reason, but when it comes to the real thing, the most important aspect lies on the safety of all civilians. That is exactly why we have assigned various Knights to take on the leadership of various Rune Knight branches in towns spread across Fiore. Knights whom are C-class or above can apply (details will be provided on a later thread) for the spot, and although technically it isn't considered to be a canon spot, canon rules do apply to those positions.
Secondly, we wouldn't be considered the police without having hidden security cameras installed all over the place, right? And that's exactly what we did. Over the course of the past few months, a few chosen representatives of the Intel Division has been sent to install copious amounts of surveillance cameras all around Fiore. They could be anywhere, ranging from dark corners to back alleys, even to main streets, banks, and other important buildings. Existence of these hidden cameras are widely known, but when it comes down to their action locations, it would be nearly impossible for anyone to pinpoint each device before sufficient information is gathered and sent to the appropriate places.
The cameras themselves serve to fulfill two very simple goals.
- To monitor the different locations, in hopes of cutting down crime rate. How this works : A select few from the Intel Division are responsible for keeping a close watch on all the live footage that are being broadcasted to them in the main RK HQ back in Era. If a crime / suspicious scene is discovered, details of the offender are sent to the individual branch closest to the scene of the crime.
- To monitor the behavioral patterns of individual Knights. Certain officials are new to field work, and this is to help them improve on certain things. On other cases, however, the footage acquired are widely used as court evidence for whatever actions rogue officials chose to do.
