CRACK!
Alexandra breathed out slowly as he stepped back, adjusting his grip on the sword in his hands as he stared at the practice dummy in front of him, taking a short break from repeatedly striking it. It was a motionless target that couldn't be moved, so its effectiveness as a practice device was rather limited.... but it served rather well as an outlet for pent-up emotions. The young knight would normally not superimpose any images over the dummy whenever he practiced on it, but recent events had changed his outlook rather drastically in that regard; now whenever he practiced, a very specific face was plastered on his target.
Octavien
The man was supposed to have died decades ago, yet was still alive and well enough to threaten one of Alexandra's friends, as well as the entire world. Seeking to forge a contract with Death itself and control the near-Deified being, the Knight knew naught of his actual plans and goals, only that there was little chance of it ending well for anyone other than the mad priest. The Knight stepped forward again and struck the dummy as hard as he could, his hands beginning to ache some from the unyielding grip he held the sword with, and he continued striking it at an increasingly faster pace, releasing the sword with one hand as his strikes became erratic and seemingly random.
'You alone.... you alone I'll never forgive... never!' The Knight repeated his vow repeatedly as he struck, his calm and focused stare breaking away to unveil a hate-filled glare and snarl, and with a final strike, the sword was ripped from his hand, the blade catching in the dummy and the hilt slipping from his grasp. Alexandra panted as he imagined the results of his strikes against Octavien, his snarl worsening as his anger at the undying man rose, and with a grunt, he ripped the sword from the side of the dummy, placing it back in his Requip vault and heading off to the nearby bench to sit down and catch his breath.
Alexandra had met Octavien only once, and yet he held an almost immeasurable amount of hatred and disgust for the man; not only had he made one of his closest friends an orphan, he had brought the remains to taunt the girl with before revealing he was after her now. As if that were not enough, his friend was then stripped of her identity, a double remaining locked up 'for her own protection' while the 'real' Silvia were sent elsewhere with a brand new body, name and voice. To Alexandra, that was the same as being dead, and marred his previously glorified view of the Rune Knights. There was only one way for Silvia to get her life back, to the Knight; Octavien didn't just have to die...he had to be completely eradicated from existence, his soul and body destroyed completely to prevent any chance of another resurrection.
"Just wait..... just wait a little longer. I'll kill him. I swear it.... everything he's taken from you, I'll pay him back for one-hundredfold."
