He had been awake way before the sun had broken over the horizon to greet the unwelcoming world with its warm embrace, the bright rays washing away the blanket of darkness which night time had cast upon the land of Kou. He sat atop the roof of his little shack that he called home, it was all thanks to his friend Sun that he had this roof over his head after an incident within the palace, he was banished from Kou he was supposed to leave the land all together or face execution. However thanks to the kindness of Sun he was kept here in secret of the emperor, K lived happily in the deepest part of the forest like a hermit some would say. Yet as happy as the expression on his dirty mask was, this boy harbored dark secrets a very bad habit he had picked up in his tribal days it was common amongst his people but frowned upon in civilized society. He did not care however, Sun allowed him to indulge in his dark delights letting him be who he wanted to be, broken from deep thoughts the sound of rustling in the wilderness caught the masked man’s attention.
Head motioned in the direction of the sound, eyes settled upon a familiar figure who emerged from the forest which surrounded his home it seemed Sun had not noticed him up high in his roof. With the ear piercing sound of his door being kicked in, and his friends voice echoing within the four walls of his house K was both obligated, and eager to greet Sun. Jumping from the roof he landed behind his comrade standing just outside the door, “Sun, Sun! You shine brightly with your eagerness, yes we know what day it is today. The days of days today we join the mighty Huns, and adventure across the lands!” he commented with a cheery distorted voice that escaped from his mask. As it was customary K slid his feet across the ground to approach Sun, and embrace his friend with a meaningful hug before quickly releasing, and rolling back. Standing upright K played an air flute in his hands, “March to the Huns we shall! March to adventure, and glory let us go Sun, shine brightly lead the way!” he said with a chuckle which only showed the masked mans enthusiasm that was shared by his friend.
