LIGHT GS : NOVICE | The Light God Slayer has a rather basic setup. There is, of course, general Light God Slaying magic, and Darklight shift. Additionally, this slayer possesses the unique ability to use Illusions and has a body augmented by Ascension.
| LIGHT GOD SLAYING ABILITY NAME: Arklight Blade ABILITY RANK: novice ABILITY DESCRIPTION: This spell allows Reivan to create a single, cross-shaped, 3 feet sword made of dark light suspended in the air to her left. She then sends it after her target at novice speed and up to mid-range, although it often just randomly falls flat. If it hits, though, it can cause moderate cuts, like a normal sword would. POWER COST: 25 ABILITY NAME: Shelter ABILITY RANK: novice ABILITY DESCRIPTION: A defensive spell, Shelter allows Reivan to erect a 3x3 feet shield made of dark light in front of her. It is somewhat unstable at this rank, causing it to sometimes just break before it actually should. Follows standard self-shield rules. POWER COST: 25 ABILITY NAME: Arklight Armblade ABILITY RANK: novice ABILITY DESCRIPTION: With this ability, Reivan can turn part of a hand and arm into a blade made of dark light, shifting the length to up to 3 feet. The blade is, at this rank, rather prone to breaking, but can deal damage just like an ordinary blade. POWER COST: 10 Per Post | ILLUSIONS
ABILITY NAME: Backstep Feint
ABILITY RANK: novice
ABILITY DESCRIPTION: More a maneuver than just a spell, Reivan utilizes her slight talent for illusions through her godslayer magic to create a short timed optical illusion of herself, standing where she had just stood, while she actually leaps backwards. The illusion is just good enough to allow her to hide behind it, and gets distorted if hit by, well, anything.
