skyle laurentTWENTY THREE + MALE + WANDERER + HETEROSEXUAL ABOUT | The Venator Program. A secret facility built to produce efficient and loyal soldiers, each one trained from birth and forced-fed with an artificial lacrima to not only numb their minds to create an illusion of obedience, but also to magically mutate their bodies to produce super-soldiers. Many do not survive this treatment, but none would miss them, for they were naught but children from the streets. Those who do become tools with complete obedience and lack of a human conscience. And they are sold to the highest bidder, raging from trading corporations, lacrima companies, terrorist organizations and even governments. Skyle himself had been sold to a criminal kingpin, who had used his skills to turn him into his own personal hitman, going after his rivals, and anyone in between, innocent or not.
And Skyle was his weapon for years, until a particular event involving the wife of one of his targets. During this meeting, Skyle was given something he had never been given before by his victims. Forgiveness. And that itself awakened Skyle's already recovering human conscience and capability to have independent thoughts. And with every day that passed, Skyle grew more confused as to what he was doing, who he really was, and what he was feeling. It all reached the point where Skyle was asked to kill another family, but instead of doing so, he would instead kill his own allies, and escape, unable to bring himself into taking an innocent life.
It took him a while, but now finally learning of his origins, Skyle travels all over Earthland, looking for clues as to the true location of the Venator Project, the people behind it, and others who had survived. For as long as they lived, Skyle knew that his sins would never be forgiven.
NOTE: Do take note that I'm currently in the military, so if you do seek to plot with me, be aware that my posting speed is not how it used to be. I will do my best, that I can promise. | FRIENDS | Though Skyle is easy to get along with, he isn't one to really make solid good relationships with others. He finds it hard to trust people, and he never stays in one place long enough for such bonds to form. What he has are simply allies, people he have fought or worked alongside before. People he knows would be able to carry their own weight. To truly be Skyle's friend, you'd have to understand his reasons first. | ENEMIES | It's really easy to become Skyle's enemy. Either harm the people he considers as his friends and those close to him, or try to deprive an innocent of their personal freedom. Having being chained for all of his life, he knows how precious freedom is, and he dislikes seeing the freedom of others' being compromised. He will step up without a second thought whenever he sees this, and he will not hesitate to take the lives of such criminals. | LOVERS | Being somewhat new to the aspects of having his own choices to make, Skyle is still unfamiliar with the idea of a true romance. he is sort of flirtatious, and he does enjoy the female company, but loyalty to a single individual would require one to work extra hard to not only gain his attention, but trust and love as well. Plus, the guilt that he carries for destroying many families makes him feel as if he does not deserve to feel the same experiences as they did. |
