QUEEN OF INSECTS : NOVICE | Oh how rough it is for a fallen angel to walk this earth alone. Prior to her coming in contact with a certain demon lord, her magic had been different, but now, it seems that she gained a form that is more befitting of a creature of the underworld than a saint from above the skies.
Nevertheless, Eve's magic offers her a variety of affinities, starting with insectoid capabilities, as evident when she changes her form entirely. Though most of her magic is only available upon her transformation, she could occasionally utilize her insect manipulation techniques outside of battle, but when it comes to the real deal, it looks terrifying, and it does the trick. Eve is also an expert when it comes to all the different types of venomous poisons that different species of insects harbor within their bodies, and its only natural that she cunningly applies them to her repertoire. Lastly, Eve specializes in dealing with genetic mutations. Cross breeding insects with other things, mutating ones that already exist, you name it.
| INSECTOID CAPABILITIES FORM NAME: Queen of Insects FORM REFERENCE: HereFORM DESCRIPTION: Though she does not refer to herself as a Queen of any sorts, her underlings doesn't seem to agree. Nonetheless, when it comes to how she looks, one can say that she's disgustingly grotesque, while another could say that she's hauntingly beautiful. The first thing one would notice is her hair, which, although it retains a color that is similar to her human form, is now comprised of hundreds, probably thousands of insect-like legs that seemingly protrude the skin on her scalp. Her entire body, starting from the neck down, is covered in a thick layer of carapace, an exoskeleton of sorts that is often layered with a thin protective fluid. Aside from this, four winged blades are sprouted from her back, and if she chooses to use it as her mode of transportation as opposed to walking, she'd probably look like a giant spider of sorts. ABILITY NAME: Apex Predator - Insect Power ABILITY RANK: Novice ABILITY DESCRIPTION: It isn't a secret that insects are fast and strong, despite being overly small. But being their Queen, it is only fitting for Eve to be able to tap into that formidable strength and speed and use it as her own. When activated, Eve's physical lifting and speed are boosted to Novice levels. POWER COST: 10P per post. ABILITY NAME: Apex Predator - Spider Sense ABILITY RANK: Novice ABILITY DESCRIPTION: Technically speaking, most insects have this trait, as the tiny hairs that cover the insects' bodies are ultra-sensitive to movement, whether its wind, or vibrations from the ground. Also included is a lyriform organ that is basically a slit-like organ on a spider's legs, used to detect sounds. Once again, as the Queen of Insects, it is unlikely that quality traits such as these escaped her. With concentration, Eve is able to sense, hear, smell and pinpoint anything within a Novice range, centering around her. Additionally, she is able to use the tiny hair particles on her hands and feet to scale structures. POWER COST: 25P for the sensory field. ABILITY NAME: Apex Predator - Speedy Recovery ABILITY RANK: Novice ABILITY DESCRIPTION: Many insects are known to regenerate lost limbs, claws, antennae with apparent ease. Though it does take a short bit of time, those insects aren't known to have magic to aid and speed up that process. The Queen, however, does. Upon use, this spell heals one minor wound in two turns, or one novice ailment in one turn. POWER COST: 25P per use. | INSECT MANIPULATION
ABILITY NAME: Apex Predator - The Swarm
ABILITY RANK: Novice
ABILITY DESCRIPTION: As of right now, there isn't really much use for this ability, aside from her being able to converse with all kinds of insects and ordering them to do small tasks, or even, occasionally, mold them into different shapes. Eve does not need to be in her Queen form to use this ability.
